Olosus F'saa

Don't find many lizardman in the ranks of the Delvers Picture from Elfwood; artist Gregory P. Gibbons

Occupation: Rogue, Engineer, Delver Member

Description: Olosus has a washed out green color, and has tiny black spots that start at about his sides and become more dense as they get towards the grey dorsal fin that flows the length of his back and tail. The fin that runs from his head and peeters out halfway down his tail is not very tall, about only 6 inches at the crest and 2 inches where it ends on his tail. Most of his other coloring is very common for assarai, and although the work harness that he wears is also common to other assarai, not many others have chosen to wear and hang what he does from his.

Two waterskins (one for drinking, one for wearing), 3 different small satchels (left leg, left belt, back belt, and the thing that does set him apart from many other assarai is the sword at his belt.

Dwelling: Though he prefers to 'migrate' with other assarai in several different sections of the city, he can be found most times somewhere about in Delver's square. He has space that he works out of a shop in Delvers square, where another assarai Tinkerer, named Vatour, has his shop.

Persona: Chaotic Good. Olosus is very closed mouthed and perfers to put on his Dumb Barbarian look when talking to most people. Only those that he feels a need to express who he is or his abilities does he become his natural self. He seldom talks of his past other than his childhood that he shared partially with Carsten, and in your hearing when Carsten has asked what ever became of his village, he merely says 'its gone' and nothing else. Olosus perfers to speak in Draconic, but speaks perfect Common, if he so chooses.

Goals: One of the things that he talks about is trying to make a better place for the assarai that live in the city. He has a few plans on that, but he knows that his people will never aspire to what he can do, or at best will only ever be as good as Vatour so he merely looks to those that have been abused, and has often asked Carsten if he would heal a member or two that have been seriously beaten or injured, as they many will not come alone to any of the chapels. His greatest passion is the great workings of the past and how many things were accomplished. He has taken an interest in arcane knowlege as it would seem that some machines incorperated this, and he knows this will come in handy. Currently his biggest goal is to be as ready as possible for when the group that Carsten has brought together starts to delve.

Notes: Is well aquanted with many of the assarai population and sometimes 'migrates' with them from place to place. Can usually be found in the Delver's Guild Library, working away at a bit of something.

Olosus obviously has connections beyond Delver's square to conencide with his more... colourful skills, but as yet he seldom takes anyone along when he goes to meet with them or talk to them. When Olosus is being normal :-) and not putting on his dub barbarian routine, he is exceptionally well read and does quote Sea Elven poetry from time to time, as it reminds him of the sea. His ability to assimilate books is truely astonishing and in the few years he has been here, he has gone through almost all the reports and journals in the Delvers guild in preperation for the next leg of his journey. He has asked Carsten from time to time if he might gain acess to the church libary as pertaining to the tunnels that honeycomb the city, but as such he has not found much there helpful. But appreciates how hard it is for Carsten to even get him into the libary, even if it is the general libary. And Carsten is always happier when Olosus takes an interest in religion.... any religion, so he keeps at it, if for nothing else then just for an old childhood friend.

The thing that always peaks Olosus's interest however is old technology... be it machines, alchemies, or weapons. He has even been seen (more recently of couse) having long talks with Est about the nature of arcane and how it has been used in the past to work in conjuction with old technology. But his greatest interest lies in machines and thier inner workings. As a matter of fact the last time that he was invited up to the nobles quarters he wanted so much to go to see the Shever Estate, and knew that was not possible, it was a constant pain in his face the entire time he spent in the streets.

Oh I forgot. Of course you have all approached him about the possibility of going to the machine temple or making introductions to different factions regarding technology. Olosus simply states that he will approach them when the time comes, but to approach them too early would cause alot of needless problems. When we have found something worthy in our delving, we will then go to the different groups, with the working object in hand. Only then would they accept him and not as just a 'clever monkey'.
