Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 is the greatest computer game ever created so far as of now. Running on the Source Engine it is no doubt the best looking game. I've been waiting for it's release since Half-Life. This game requires a very good computer to run in it's highest settings or else you will have ugly and not so good looking graphics. The sole reason why I bought this game is not just to play it, but because it has modifications.

Modifications are created by the community to be played on the Source Engine. In the first Half-Life there were modifications such as Counter-strike, which involved Terrorist vs. Counter-terrorist combat. It was my favorite game, but since Half-Life 2 came out it included Counter-Strike: Source the newly designed Counter-Strike on the Source Engine. With the ability to download and play modifications it's basically like buying one game and getting to play other hundreds for free later on.
