Photobooth Shops

For four or five bucks you can get pay a visit to a very novelesque version of the standard photobooth.  No passport photos here.  You walk into a brightly lit room and weave around a labyrinth of individual booths, finding the style and format most agreeable to you on that day.  Stickers?  Letter-sized?  Scratch and sniff?  Sparkles.

Most are Japanese, as I learned when a Chinese friend was unable to read the directions either.  Also, the script is written in Japanese.  All cute and goofy, there are loads of Hello Kitty, Kerokerokeroppi (the bastard) and other cute themes of Japanese idols the younger crowd likes to ooh and ahh over.  Happy.
