This traditional street lamp seems oddly out of place
along Interstate 66.
Speaking of things that are odd, while I was stopped on the side of the
interstate, a car pulled over ... and it was my former co-worker Ray,
who just happened to be on his way into the city for a job interview. He
wondered what I was doing standing on the shoulder of Interstate 66.
Maybe he was worried that I was going to hurl myself into traffic in grief
over having just lost my job! Ha! Like I cared about that.
