Rather than drive my own aging car up to Iselin and back, I
decided to take
advantage of a great weekend rate from Thrifty Car Rental to get a nice new
car. A good plan! I got a silver Mitsubishi Gallant with an in-dash CD player
and cruise control. Sweet! For reasons that escape me, the Thrifty office
in Leesburg didn't offer the special weekend rate, so I had to go to the so-
called Dulles Airport office, which is located not at Dulles Airport but at
this
Fairfield Inn in Sterling. Which is good, because I would have had to pay to
park at the airport and I could park for free at the hotel. Whee!
