Hello to all you Layzells out there!!!
Welcome to my own patch of the Layzell family tree.
This particular branch is still sketchy, but recent discoveries have added a lot of new relatives.
Also, much needed help from Gary Holland, Carol Scott, Bill Szelazek and the mysterious Al Wakeling have linked the two brothers, James and Edward, and pushed my Layzells back another two generations. Thanks again!
Both brothers raised their families in the English county of Essex (South-East of London) in and around Colchester and Brightlingsea, so anyone out there with Layzell family even remotely close to that area should contact me right away!!

The surname Layzell, by the way, is rumoured to be a derivation of the French name 'Lasalle' or 'Lascelles'.
