We decided to do the 2 Day Sahara Explorer whilst in Tunisia |
|
|
|
our first call was to El Jem, A Collisseum that rivals and beats the one in Rome for being intact. |

With imagination you can tell that the photo here show were used in the Film "Star Wars". The dwellings are cave houses at Matmata and used by Troglodites. |

The Sahara Desert |

After Matamata we travelled to the gateway of the Sahara Douz where we did a camel ride out into the desert. |
