| Work carried out since purchase in October 2005 Replacement of all hinge bolts with stainless steel - just to smarten things up a bit. Removed rear mud flaps - so you can see the tyres better! Replacement of wing mirror arms and footwell trim, just as the old ones were a bit tired. Fitted steel front wing air scoop from Bearmach, sprayed Bronze Green to match. Replacement of radius arm bushes to front, no 2 steering joint, rear brake pads and rear hub seals. Replacement of ITG Maxogen foam air filter. Rebuild of engine by John Eales January 06 following blown gasket. Rebuild carried out with dyno test - see power curve page. Replacement of Land Rover vinyl seats with Cobra Monaco 2 bucket seats - see gallery for picture. Replacement of standard steering wheel with Mountney M range 340mm wheel - see gallery for picture. Replacement of both indicator repeaters on wings - badly rusted after nearly 20 years, most of the other lights have already been replaced. Sprayed chassis with oil, chassis is in excellent condition - surprisingly for a land rover! |
