SEVENTH GENERATION
88. Unknown GRAVES
(114)(8)
. Thomas Graves 1645 Settler of Hartford, Connecticut and
Hatfield, Massachusetts and His Descendants, By Kenneth
Vance Graves, Family History Publication, Warentham, MA,
1985.
(page 184)
------ Graves (1163/4/5) was one of Stephen's sons, but it is not presently known
which
one. The diary of Stephen Graves (b. 1810) provides the proof that the children
listed
below are the grandchildren of Stephen Graves (b. 1763). The family tradition
states that
there were 11 sons but, if this is correct, not all the names have been found.
Stephen,
Wash, Isaac, Abraham, and Jacob all moved to Murray Co., Ga.; Richard, Stephen,
and
Thomas moved to Scott Co., Ark.; Richard and Wash moved to Greene Co., MO. (R-17)
