12. Daniel "Brantley" IVEY^{(15) (16)} was born on 18 Jan 1883 in Snow, Dooly Co., Georgia. He died on 1 May 1957 in Galveston, Galveston Co., TX. He was buried ? in Walnut Cemetery, Unadilla, Dooly C. Abstract of "Salute to 37 years of Service! Daniel B. IVEY, Chief Supply Branch.

He graduated from high school & business school in Macon, GA. Then joined Signal Corp of Army for Spanish American War. Then civil servant status started with Bureau of Insular Affair in Philippine where he met his wife. Also work for Custom Office there. On death of daughter return to USA main land. On 21 Aug 1908 he was in business with his uncle in La Grange, Troop Co., GA.
Later in 1908 joined Corp of Engineer in New Orleans. Builds their house there in 1915 where the live until about 1940 or when they go to Jamaica.
In 1921 he went to work for City of New Orleans as Purchasing Agent.
In 1925 started his own company " Pontchartrain Sand & Gravel Co." until 1935 when he returned to Corp of Engineers in New Orleans.
After Jamaica he was transferred to Galveston in June 1942 where he retired.

He was married to Olive Hulbert BOOTH on 18 Jan 1906 in Philippine Islands.

13. Olive Hulbert BOOTH ^(17)(15) was born on 20 Aug 1884 in Fort Meade, Dakota Territory. She died on 8 Nov 1970 in Galveston, Galveston Co., TX. She was buried ? in Walnut Cemetery, Unadilla, Dooly C. Children were:

i. Edris IVEY was born in 1907 in Cebu, PI. She died in 1908 in Cebu, PI.

iv. Allan Alonzo IVEY Sr.⁽¹⁵⁾ was born on 11 Sep 1926 in New Oleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. He died in 1995 in Hitchcock, Galveston Co., TX.
