Hacking OS X "Bezels"

Check out this little tutorial to get some very nice customization on your Mac OS X system.

Technology Curriculum

The curriculum at my local community college is teaching table-based layout, and <font> based formatting. That's not so bad. What is bad is the basic computer course teaching people that processors don't have pins, viruses come from JPEGs, Linux has no GUI (and therefore should be avoided), coax is a high-speed LAN cabling, laptops don't have physical space for more than 128MB of RAM and you thusly use "flash memory," and Wi-Fi access control is achieved by "not letting people in the room with the thing." What's the worst part of all this? The professor is an adjunct, which means they must have a master's degree... in what!? I had points docked for not including MS Office in my build-a-computer assigment. When the teacher noticed I had no modem in the configuration, she asked "how will you get on the internet?"
