In the Beginning,.... before 1977, there were two main streams of comics flowing from the mind of John Beers - Superguy, and the predictable parody of the science-fiction epic, The Planet of the Grapes. Nearly thirty years later, this is likely to be the oldest MC comic still extant - nothing older claiming a link to MC's heritage is known to exsist.
