A strikingly relevant and appropriate editorial appears following the story in ODSC #29, which was released only weeks after the tragic murder. For John Beers in particular, John Lennon had always been a role model (no accident that he was written into Murrikenzi Ciry 1985 #1, published late in 1977). John Lennon's life and ideals branch out to all of humanity, and in some small way, on a personal level to John Beers too.
