Guests may now extinguish their candles.

John and Loreene come into this relationship as individuals.  So, too, should they enter into their Marriage relationship.  They do not lose their own identies, rather they use their individuality to create and strengthen their relationship and their family.  Therefore, the three candles will remain lit:  one for each of them and one for their union, as symbols of their commitment to each other and to a lasting love together.
