Mysteries

My favorite author is Dean Koontz. I have read about nine of his books. My favorite so far is Intensity. There was a movie based on this book but it wasn't verygood. Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. I haven't kept up on his latest novels, but do plan on reading more of his books. If you are a Dean Koontz fan, you might want to check-out the Official Dean Koontz Website

The book Perfume written by Patrick Suskind is another favorite of mine. I borrowed that book from a friend of mine at work. The book was about a serial killer. The killer didn't have natural human odors and was looking for a way to make the perfectodor that attracted others to him. It is a science fiction book, but deals with real issues.

Biographies

I have also read Drew Barrymore's Little girl Lost. Basically I read that book book cause she is one of my favorite actress'. It was a very good and honest book about her life. The story is about Berrymore as a little girl, as the title suggests, and how growing up in HollyWood had negative influences on her life. If you are a Drew Barrymore fan, or are have been influenced by drugs at one time or another, this is a must read. If you are a Drew Barrymore fan then you might want to check out one of these Drew Barrymore sites:

Self-help

Being a Communication and Psychology major, I have read a few self-help books. My favorite book about dealing with people is How to win friends and influence people , by Dale Carnegie. It's a great book for people going into management, or those that just want to know how to get along with people better and get what you want without arguing.

Native American Literature

Winter semester (2002) I took a Native American Literature class and was able to read some books that I wouldn't have otherwise read. The first was The Report of the Miracles at Little No Horse by Louise Erdrich. This was an excellent book and I have kept it as part of my home library. The other book that I really enjoyed was  Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie. These two books are great novels and I would recommend them to anyone.
