decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,
then I will do this to you: I will bring upon you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that
will destroy your sight and drain away your life. You will plant seed in vain, because your
enemies will eat it.
� 1 Samuel 15: 22 , 23
But Samuel replied:
"Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD ?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is like the sin of divination,
and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the LORD ,
he has rejected you as king."

Be careful to follow all the commands of the LORD your God, that you may possess this
good land and pass it on as an inheritance to your descendants forever�acknowledge the
God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind,
for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts.
If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

I will always have regard for your decrees.
You reject all who stray from your decrees,
for their deceitfulness is in vain.

The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. 36Whoever believes in the Son

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this
instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful
instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead,
to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what
their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside
to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist,
discharge all the duties of your ministry.

To the Church in Sardis
"To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven
spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive,
but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found
your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received
and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will
not know at what time I will come to you.
