The 2008 season has come and gone and for the first time in 13 years the playoffs are without the New York Yankees. The Yanks ended the season with an 89-73 regular season record that saw many injuries, many missed oppurtunities and many memories and milestones!
The most important fact about the 08 season was that this was the final year of baseball at Yankee Stadium! For 85 years the House That Ruth Buillt saw many memorable moments in baseball included a perfect game from Larson, A-Rod's 500th career homerun and Jeter's run in the stands. From the facade to the clubhouse to the bleacher creatures, an era has ended, but a new one will begin in April 09 right across the street in the NEW Yankee Stadium against the Indians of Cleveland Ohio! |
