<< TURN TIME LIMITS POLICY
>
> Turn time limits shall not be used, unless both players agree in advance.
>
> SCORING POLICY
>
> Each round is a two game match. Each player will play the battle as both
sides (Union and Confederate),
and
> each players combined score will determine the winner.
>
> The player with the lower rating (ie: the underdog) will have the first
> choice of sides; he may, of course, defer to his opponent. The players
must
> complete both battles and record and agree on the scores for each. Once
both
> battles are completed the scores will be added together to determine the
> victor. Example: Fred got 6000 points as the Union while Bob got 1000
points
> as the Confederates. Then Fred got 500 points as the Confederates while
Bob
> got 5000 points as the Union. The combined scores would be Fred 6500 Bob
6000
> - Fred wins.

    DRAWN MATCH
For every match/round there is one point awarded.Nothing prohibits the
players from splitting that point by mutual agreement. There are many reasons
that one or both players might agree to split the point. One or both players
may have time constraints. They might not like the battle.Note that a draw
must be agreed to for the whole round/match.
>
> DISPUTES POLICY
>
> If there is any discrepancy about the final score, the players should
> immediately email the .saf files from their recent, end turn, and
last
> named saves to their opponent for comparison. Those files contain all the
> information displayed on the victory screen. If the players are unable
to
> resolve their differences after viewing those files, the files must be
> forwarded to [email protected].
>
> RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
>
> No player may attack a routed unit, except to capture it or when the unit
is
> blocking a tactically important hex (as determined by agreement of both
> players prior to the attack). The purpose of the rule is twofold. It cuts
> down on the number of terminal game errors, and it improves the quality of
> play by reducing an incentive to pursue beaten troops to gain a victory
point
> advantage.
>
> SURRENDERS
>
> For a variety reasons, principally imminent or extant battlefield
disaster,
> you or your opponent (hopefully your opponent) may wish to resign a battle
> rather than play it to the bitter end. Please be aware that because most
> tournaments require players to play the battle twice with the winner
> determined on the basis of his or her combined score, you CANNOT surrender
> solely as to one of the two. If you wish to resign, you must resign the
> entire round. The surrendering party must immediately send his resignation
to [email protected], sending a copy of the email
to
> his opponent.
>
> Note: This rule does not prohibit the players from agreeing to pause the
> first game to begin the second. There is no requirement that the players
> finish the first battle before switching sides and starting the second.
>
> CODE OF CONDUCT
>
> Players shall act honorably at all times.Cheating will not be tolerated.
