Flextronics International (FLEX)

Ok, so my stocks (as well as most tech stocks) are in the toilet, but that doesn't mean you can't look into this one and make your own decision. Flextronics is one of the largest electronics contract manufacturers in the world. Based in Singapore, they fabricate and assemble products by big name companies who don't want to deal with the production side of things such as Ericsson phones, Cisco routers, and Microsoft's X-Box. But have you heard of the Flextronics name? Not likely if you're the average consumer. Their factories, located in low cost labor countries, are also flexible enough to switch production from one product to another with little disruption. Global automation and the use of a concept called demand flow manufacturing, where products are made only as they are ordered, then shipped directly to customers, greatly reduce costs. What's not to like? Look into them.
