Welcome to my website. Originally from Worcester, MA, I moved to Beacon Hill 8 years ago and immediately fell in love with the area. I am a Jazz and Classical guitarist and have taught full-time for over 10 years. I teach private lessons and in a classroom setting at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in Harvard Square. My band - The Joel Rivard Jazz Group, performs locally and has recorded 2 CDs.

I have lived in 5 different apartments in Beacon Hill over the years and each time I was going through the "apartment hunting" phase I noticed that I really enjoyed viewing different properties in this area. With that in mind, plus my knowledge and fondness for "The Hill" I decided to become a real estate agent. My teaching experience gives me good listening and communication skills. I genuinely enjoy helping people find great places to live in the city.

Over the past few years I have made many contacts and friends in the real estate world including property managers, owners and other agents in offices around the city. I've become an expert in the rental market from experience and from apprenticing under some of the agents who I considered to be the best in the area.

I look forward to meeting and working with new clients and to use my skills, knowledge and connections to help them find a great place to call home in this amazing location!
