We had only planned on keeping one kitten and that was Freddy. But Callie was such a beautiful calico and had such an enduring personality, I had to have her as well.

Callie was a licker when she was a kitten. She would climb on you at night and lick your face. It would do no good to turn your head, she's come around. Put the covers over your head and she'd paw at the sheets to get out of you. Thank goodness for the most part she got over that.

 

Callie loves to play chase. Even when she was little and we would let all the kittens out of the sunroom for a morning romp through the house, she was the last one to catch. She would run and hide. Even now when it's time to come in at night, she will run away and enjoy the chase. If she goes up the tree there is no catching her. But it's more the chase she likes because if you give up she is bound to run after you --Hey wait for me!
