Shannon DeLancey Bass was born in Red Bank, Tennessee, to Bill and Dot Bass on October 8, 1960. Mr. Bass worked for Coca-Cola. Shannon has a younger brother, Ty.
One day while Shannon was working at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, an attractive (LOL!) young Navy man named Bill Bedford walked in. Little did poor Shannon know at the time that on August 21, 1983, she was doomed to marry my older brother.
Bill and Shannon live in Ooltewah, Tennessee, with sons Billy and Blake. Shannon is a full-time mother.
This photo was taken by me in Livonia, Michigan, November 1994. We were in town for Bill's 20th high school reunion.
