Bill Bedford was born in Michigan in 1956. Parents were Tom Bedford and Loretta Jean Reinning Bedford.
Bill was raised in Livonia, where he graduated from Franklin High School in 1974. That fall, Bill joined the United States Navy. He was a career Navy man, retiring in 1994 at the rank of Master Chief. Bill is currently employed by Cigna Healthcare. Bill has been married to the former Shannon Bass since 1983. He has two children: Billy Jr., 15, and Blake, 11. Bill currently lives in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
