Today it has appointed its own CEO Hajime Satomi as chairman of Sega. Demoting the famous Hideki Sato to vice chairman and a powerless position. The panic that has now consumed Sega fans is that Sammy plans to become to worlds top 3rd world arcade maker. This will more then likely shift Sega's focus away from home console video game production. Sega as we know it maybe gone, a disturbing quote from Satomi In response to questions about Sega and Sammy not being able to work together only makes this more evident I can't imagine that happening, but if our vision does not agree with that of Sega then we might have to consider taking more shares. Hopes of another Sega made console and other such dreams also seem to be gone if Sammy can bully Sega into stopping its video game production all together.2/18/04* *Click Here to see the newest Article of the Month "The Current State of the Dreamcast PSO Community".
