The Different Faces of the Dreamcast
In this months article I will discuss the many different faces that the Dreamcast has taken.  While you may think there is only one kind of Dreamcast your wrong there are in fact more than 10 different models of the Dreamcast made by Sega and here they are.

The Sakura Taisen Dreamcast was made after the very successful games (Over 15 games released for the Dreamcast) in Japan for the Dreamcast.  The face of the Dreamcast has the games name and its 8 main characters Click Here to see the top of the Dreamcast closer and other photo's of it.  The Sakura Taisen Dreamcast came with Pink Sakura Dreamcast, matching vmu, matching controller, Sakura version of Dream Passport v3.0, Sakura Kinematron Hanagumi Mail, Sakura Taisen 3 demo, and hook ups.  Also they sold extra controllers for $20 (Release - 12/26/00 Price - $220 Where -Japan).












D-Direct (Dreamcast-Direct, now called Sega-Direct, its Sega of Japans official online store) Series Dreamcasts:  There was a host of them made we know at the time of only 3 (black, silver, pearl blue and pink), each limited to a 200 system production.

The Sonic 10th Anniversary Dreamcast, which honors the 10 years since the creation of Sonic.  There were only 200 of the Sonic Dreamcasts made.  The brand the logo of Sonic and his blue color on the Dreamcast, controller with Sonic Teams logo,Sonic Adventure 2, a Sonic Team vmu, broadband adapter and hook ups (Release - 6/23/01 Price - 400 Where - Japan).












The R7 Dreamcast are Japanese Dreamcasts that were used as network consoles in pachinko parlors in Japan, Previously available only to pachinko parlors.  The R7 package came with the black R7 Dreamcast, matching controller, broadband adapter and hook ups.  The bad thing is they can't play Sega games
