The Different Faces of the Dreamcast
In this months article I will discuss the many different faces that the Dreamcast has taken.  While you may think there is only one kind of Dreamcast your wrong there are in fact more than 10 different models of the Dreamcast made by Sega and here they are.

The Mazora Dreamcast is special in more then one way, Mazora is a Japanese company that deals with motorcycles and cars. There were only 200 of the Mazora Dreamcasts made.  The package includes dark green consol with Mazora logo, Mazora controller, Internet browser disk, game sampler, and hook ups (Release - Unknown Price - 450 Where - Japan).












Seaman was a huge hit in Japan, which is why they made these two Seaman Dreamcasts.  The purple one was released first and the red one the following Christmas.  There were only 850 of the Christmas Seaman Dreamcasts made and 500 clear Seamen Dreamcasts.  The package included clear Dreamcast/red Dreamcast console, matching vmu, matching control pad, Seaman, Seaman music cd and hook ups (Release - 7/1/99 and 12/1/99 Price - $340 and $340 Where - Japan).










While in the USA the Hello Kitty fad was here, it was no where as big as in Japan as you can see with these Hello Kitty Dreamcast Package.  There were only 1500 of each Hello Kitty colored Dreamcasts made.  They include red matching controllers, matching vmu, keyboard and matching keyboard, Hello Kitty (puzzle game), and hook ups.

The success of the Resident Evil line of games gave way to these two Dreamcasts for the Dreamcast game Resident Evil: Code Veronica the Claire version to the left and the S.T.A.R.S version to the right.  There were only 2,000 special Biohazard Dremcasts made (1,800 Claire and 200 S.T.A.R.S); all the boxes are identical so you could get either version, although the Claire version is more likely.  The package included Transparent red or/blue Dreamcast console, matching control pad, special vmu, Resident Evil Code Verontica, and hook ups (Release - 2/3/00 Price - $320 (Claire)and $320 (S.T.A.R.S) Where - Japan).










Fuji Television 'Devers 2000 Series CX-1' was Dreamcast TV combo.  It is a TV monitor with a build-in Dreamcast.  The TV Package came with TV/Dreamcast, matching controller, keyboard, dreameye and remote.
