| Full Moon (Peak of energy) Use for attractig Good things to you or others, Healing New Moon (Lowest point of energy) Good for Divination, Astral projecting, Exorcism, Retrospection, Protection, Cleansing and Banishing. Waxing From the New moon to the Full moon, it last approximately two weeks and notes an increase in energy. Good for attracting things to you, blessings, healings and consecration (except for athame). Waning From the Full moon to the New moon, it also lasts approximately two weeks and notes decrease in energy. Good for banishings, removal of illness, exorcisms, subcomscious work and the consecration of the athame. Void of Course (V/C) is any time the moon is in between astrological signs, it is chaotic energy without focus. Never start a spell when the moon is void of course. If you are doing a 3 or 7 day spell don't let it interrupt you because you are only backing up the original energy. Lunar Eclipse Always occurs on the Full moon. It is unique in that it is much like the waning and waxing moon phases occurring (more intensely) within a matter of hours. from the beginning of the eclipse to the peak of the eclipse is much like the waning moon. It is a perfect time for the dumping of any sort negativity. From the peak of the eclipse to the end of the eclipse is much like the waxing moon.
