Kiara believes Kovu is innocent and is devestated by her father's angry response. In her first grown-up decision, she decides to follow her heart and join Kovu in the wild. Timon and Pumbaa follow Kiara because they want to guard her. |

Kovu and Kiara are madly in love with eachother but they decide to return to the Pridelands. They return to Pride Rock just in time to find Zira and her followers staging an attack on Simba and the rest of the Pride. During the battle Simba gets wounded. Kiara intervenes and tries to negotiate peace between the two Prides. One by one the outlanders abandon Zira for Simba's Pride. In a fit of rage Zira attacks Kiara, but in the end, it is Zira who meets her demise. |

Finally, the rift that divided the Pridelands is healed. And following a long-standing tradition, Kiara and Kovu, climb to the top of Pride Rock to take their place, side by side in the Circle of life. |
