Another busy week is coming to a close. We have several large project going on simultaneously. I had to pull an all-niter Wednesday night and then work throughout the day Thursday. Looks like we'll be working late again today to pull everything together in time, but we'll make it. The only consolation is it's a nice payday and I got to work in a dress LOL.
On the home front, our son is back in the states after a 9-month tour in Afghanistan -- yeah!!!!!! He has a few days of debriefing and paperwork, but he'll be home soon for a 10-day visit. While he's been gone, we've told his cousins and several of his friends about Jocelyn, so it looks like he's going to get a bit of surprise when he gets home. I'm not worried as we have a great relationship and I'm sure he'll take the news fine.
I've met some really wonderful people online and am having a ball sending letters back and forth. Unfortunately, none of them are local, so I haven't had the pleasure of meeting anyone in person yet. For many reasons, I love living and raising a family in a smaller town. Heck, we haven't locked the front door to our house in the last 20 years. But, one drawback is that people with alternative inclinations are generally pretty deep in the closet - understandable, but frustrating!
Because of my workload this week, I hadn't been planning to go out. Since we're finishing on time though, I might be able to get out afteall. This weekend the Mountaineers play their first home game and it's at night. So Morgantown will definitely be rocking....would hate to miss it. Now if I can just decide on something to wear....
