USA - October 1989

My first USA experience was in October 1989, where I visited NYC on a 2 week package tour, arranged by 'Tjaereborg Travels' with my mum as travel companion...I stayed very close to Times Square, and never forget my first experiences with the American culture...I bought stacks of records, saw James Cotton playin' his Blues, right around the corner, in a basement on Times Square...bucket-sized drinks, excellent food, either at a restaurant, or brought home from one of the Deli's...

The New Yorker's say, they can always
spot a new tourist, as they are always looking
upwards at the scyscrapers...

Me visiting Liberty Island...

A daring angle...but not revealing
anything, previously unknown... (o;

Me at Roosevelt Island - a
lovely breathinghole in the
East River, and until very
recently, only accessible
by cablecar...
