My Life Journey

My name is Joan Borja. I am 25 years old. I was born on July 31, 1991 at Sta. Cruz Manila. I grew up at my mother’s hometown in Catanduanes province.The province known as an Island that always expose to frequent typhoons. It has no dry season as rain falls throughout the year. I have to be called a family in mind but doesn't exist throughout my life. I have one brother and one sister but were apart from each other since birth. My father's name is Roberto and my mother's name is Corazon. My brother's name is Jonathan and my sister's name is Jonalyn. I grew up with my grandparent and cousin.
I started schooling at the age of 8. Although I was good at studies throughout my elementary days and graduated with honors. Maintaining my academic records and other academic activities interested me the most. I was more inclined towards understanding the concepts and memorizing them. In high school, my Auntie who financially support my studies beg me to stop because they want me to take care of my grandmother. It was unexpected decision that changed the entire high school of my life. But then after 4 years, when my grandparents died I move here in Manila with the help of my friends and continue to finished my high school by self-supporting as working student as an all-around housemaid with only 3k salary. I entered high school at La Salle Green Hills Adult Night High School. This school provide my allowance per month that’s why I survive to finish my high school. I work in the morning then study at night. In present I taken up Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship. I applied scholar at Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for my tuition fee only. Throughout this degree, I was able and become one of a dynamic entrepreneur where I can execute solutions that suit for my knowledge and skills and confidently manage a business.
Life to me means friends and family who you can trust and who trusts you. But suddenly I’m not blessed to have a family that supposed to be with you. My life surrounds only by my friends and other people who has good influence to me to continue and never give up on what who you want to become in life. I am on the moody side of life. That means I do have some sad days or depressed days, but my adopted family which is my childhood and best friend family is always at my side to support me and guide me on the right path. I treat my friends as my second family. Because they are also at my side when I’m on my bad days. I have a lot of friends here that sort of look out for me and when I am having a bad day, I have someone here at school to talk to. I make my school days most especially at my work go by thinking of what to do or prefer either the next hour or what I will do when I’m home. As a working student I need to manage my time in work and school.And it's all work out if we always remember that God is above all never leave us alone for we continue to glorify Him. He always with us.I always say a little prayer and praise Him for all the blessings even if it is small or big accomplishment for me everyday.In that way I always feel his presence.
This coming year 2018 will be my happiest day of my life after all the hardworks.I will tell to myself that I make it happen that to overcome all the trials is the most of it and “Education is the key to success” is real. That will be the day I can be proud of and never regret doing things to achieve my dreams. I think I will probably living at my hometown because of the environment and I’m also a nature lover. I will be quite comfortable with my living situation, meaning that I am a proud and successful Entrepreneurship. I think of how to be more generous to other people like what I’ve experienced and especially to those who have nothing. I think I have bought my dream house, and dreaming of a happy family.
But today I am in 3rd year college and trying to finish it with all of my best to reach my dreams and g oals in life.
