Casey: Meg, you two have so much. You've been hit by a truck named Maria, but Ben has NEVER, not ONCE as far as I know said anything other than he's trying to help Maria get well, so that two of you can move on!

Meg: Ben, don't you see? I am SO scared that I am losing you right now!
Ben: Is that what this is about?
Meg: You're still legally married to her and she's living with us! Don't you understand I wake up every mooring feeling more and more like a pathetic third wheel in my own relationship?
Ben: I keep telling you that's ridiculous.
Meg: And I keep telling you that that's the way I feel and it's only getting worse! I need to know what I mean to you!
Ben: You shouldn't have to ask.

Ben: I love you, Meg. That hasn't changed. I was with Maria in the grotto to help her connect with her memories, that's all.
Meg: I wanna believe you, I do.
Ben: For God's sake, why do you think I've been doing any of this?! The three of us cannot move on with our lives until Maria gets her memory back. That's the priority, isn't it?

Casey: Sara, I think you're exaggerating with what you think you saw.
Sara: Casey, how many times do I have to tell you...?
Casey: Ben wouldn't do that to Meg. That's not where he is. He wouldn't toy with what he has with Meg.

Ben: Maria, do you remember Meg?
Maria: Meg was my friend. And now she is the woman you love.

Maria: I know you love me, but you have to stop this. Ben is with Meg!
Carmen: That was before.
Maria: No, I mean he's with her now. I sent him to her.
Carmen: Maria!
Maria: They belong together and no one besides the two of them knows that better than me.
Carmen: How can you say that?
Maria: Because I've lived with them and I know them and they are completely in love.

Ben: Meg, what are you doing?
Meg: I'm leaving.
Ben: Now? After everything we've been through? Why? You know how I feel about you. You know I love you. Don't you believe that?
Meg: I do.
Ben: Then why?

Meg: I have always known about Maria. But I haven't known about this Maria. She's always been a ghost, a mystery to me. And now she is real, that changes everything.
Ben: It doesn't change the fact that I love you.
Meg: I know how it feels like when you love me with your whole heart. And it's different now.
Ben: It isn't different. I wish you just let me prove it to you.
Meg: You shouldn't have to.
Ben: Don't go, Meg.

Meg: When I tell you that I love you I mean it with everything that I am. My heart, my soul, everything!
Ben: So do I, Meg.
Meg: Then why can't I feel it?
Ben: I don't know, because it's there.
Meg: I need to know it's there, I need to feel it. I need to know that our love is unconditional or there's no... there's no future for us.
Ben: Hey, don't say that.
Meg: Ben, I can't spend the rest of my life wondering if you're thinking about her or wondering if you feel like you've made a mistake, because you walked away.
Ben: Meg, don't do this to us.
Meg: Is there an us?

Ben: (trying to stop her) Meg...
Meg: I can't, Ben, I can't. But thank you for being honest with me... like you always have. That's one of the reasons I love you so much.

Ben: Meg, don't do this. This is where you belong. This is your home!

Ben: How did you know Meg didn't stay with me last night?
Maria: I... I called you late last night and when you picked up you didn't say "Hello", you said "Meg", so I knew. I felt like you needed not to deal with me, too, if Meg was gone.
Ben: Well, it's only temporary.

Sara: I don't want you to lose him. Now, I know it's not in my hands to control that, but I saw something and I wanted you to have the best possible chance to fight for what is yours!
Meg: Don't you think I want that chance, too? (...) I can't believe that I didn't sleep in his arms last night!

Maria: I don't want to pry about Meg. [She did want]
Ben: Hey, it's all right, I'm just worried about her. I guess I'm not used to waking up alone. [He smiles and boy did Mutt almost throw up!]

Ben and Meg are talking about Maria's new regained memory...
Ben: That doesn't change how important you are to me!
Meg: Important? You make me sound like a valued employee or something!
Ben: You know that's not what I think of you!
Meg: Then what do you think of me? As your wife? Because you already got one of those!
Ben: YOU are my wife. In my heart and in my soul, YOU are the woman I'm married to, the woman I want... no, NEED to spend the rest of my life with. Do you hear me? YOU, Meg.
Meg: Ben...
Ben: I love you and I REFUSE to let you walk away from me. Now, come on. Say you'll come back to me. Please, Meg, say it.

Meg: I don't know if it'll work.
Ben: If what will work?
Meg: You and me.
Ben: Meg, we'll make it work, I swear to you, we'll make it work, just... just come home. Come on, you want it as much as I do, I know you do.

Meg: We were kissing, it was wrong, I shouldn't have let it happen, I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have let you close to me like that again.
Ben: Meg, don't say that.
Meg: Ben, it's true, it was a mistake.

Casey: Meg? Where's your wedding ring?
Meg: When Ben gave me that ring I thought that I would wear it for the rest of my life.
Casey: Then why did you take it off?

Casey: Meg, Meg, Meg! Meg! You're forgetting something in all this. You're the woman Ben wants to spend the rest of his life with!

Casey: Meg, what does it mean, huh? That you just walk away? You give up?
Meg: Casey, I could never give up on Ben.

Meg: Don't you want me to be happy?
Hank: Of course I do.
Meg: Well, then for me that means being with Ben.

Ben: The point is, Meg, if Maria living here translates into you moving out then we have to come up with another plan. I am not gonna be separated from you, Meg!
Meg: Ben, it's not that simple.
Ben: I never said it was simple. But it's what I want.

Ben: Meg, I've been very supportive of her [Maria]. But she knows I am committed to you!

Meg: You have to be completely honest with me.
Ben: Meg! I have been!
Meg: About how you feel about me, yes, you have. But if you can't be honest about your confusion then there's no way we can work this out.
Ben: Don't say that! Of course we can always...!
Meg: It's true, Ben! We have to face the fact that we may not end up together no matter what Maria...
Ben: Meg, Meg... Meg... You're forgetting something. I love you. And I'm not about to let you go.

Ben notices Meg's wedding ring is gone and is completely devastated:
Ben: Meg, your ring... You've taken off your wedding ring... Why, Meg? I mean, I know what we've been through... I... I know in name we're not married, but I... in my heart... in our hearts, I thought you...
Meg: Ben, it was the hardest thing I've ever done. When you put that ring on my finger and you promised to love me forever I took a vow that I would never take that ring off and...
Ben: I know.
Meg: ...a few hours later our world crumbled around us!
Ben: Since I put that ring on your finger, yeah, our lives have changed, yes, our circumstances have changed, but my feelings for you when we married, the love for you... is the same as I feel now. What is it gonna take for me to convince you of that?!
Meg: I don't want you to try and convince me, can't you see that?! I know how much you love me!
Ben: Then for Heaven's sake what are we doing?
Meg: Do I have your whole heart? Do I?
Ben: I told you - you have me!

Ben: Where is Meg?
Sara: Packing. Ben, you can't let this happen. She loves you! This is wrong!
Ben: I don't want Meg to go, Sara.
Sara: Then stop her! All it takes is one word from you, why can't you give her what she needs?
Ben: One word?
Sara: Tell Maria to go!

Sara: I'm selling my soul to the devil.
Tim: That would be me?
Sara: Yeah!

Ben: You're in my heart, Meg. You always will be.

Meg: Ben, please, don't make it harder than it already is.
Ben: I just can't stand the thought of you not being here anymore.

Casey: I... I can't believe this is happening!
Maria: Casey, you were with Ben and me from the beginning! You know how it was between us!
Casey: Yeah, and I know how it IS between him and Meg NOW. Maria, I'm not trying to hurt you. But Ben thought you were dead. He mourned you for years, it almost killed him. And then Meg came along and helped him move on with his life. Maria, they're in love.

Ben: (to Meg) I love you. Remember that.

Meg: I can't stay. I just came by to give you my key... your key to your house. I don't need it anymore.
Ben: This has gone far enough.
Meg: Ben, please don't make this any harder than it is.
Ben: Meg, that key is to our house. Now, I've accepted you moving out only because I know it is temporary!  Taking back that key doesn't feel very temporary to me!
Meg: I didn't come here to argue with you
Ben: Good. Then put the key away. And have dinner with me.

Lonnie: (to Ben) Who the hell you think you are?  What, do you think you're better than me?
Meg: Lonnie! Lonnie! Ben does not think that. He's more fair than anyone, you know that. He is only trying to help you because he cares.

Annie gloats over the fact that Meg moved out.
Maria: Annie! Ben wants her back!

Ben: It's not you I'm mad at, Meg, it's...
Meg: It's the situation. I know.
Ben: Look at us. I mean, you are returning your key and you've taken off your wedding ring. I'm trying to... trying to make things right for you and for Maria and I'm not exactly sure what the right thing is anymore.
Meg: Ben, I'm not blaming you for any of this.
Ben: I know, I know, I know you are not but I'm still not with you. And here I am giving you time and space and telling you it's okay and all I know is I miss you and I can't seem to make it right for any of us.
Meg: It's not your job to make it right.
Ben: I thought you told me you needed me to figure out my feelings.
Meg: Yes.
Ben: Well, I know I want to see you. I know I miss you all day long. I know I reach out for you when I wake up in the mornings and I get mad because you're not there.  So yeah, maybe I am mad at you Meg!  How does that make you feel?
Meg: Hungry!

Meg: I don't want to break off our contact, Ben, I just think we need to clear the air of a few things.
Ben: I know and I forgot to say I love you.
Roger: Ben, I'm sorry, I need you again.
Ben: I may have to fire him!

Maria: You know, we should probably check that cut on his head. Why don't you go get the first aid kit. It's... It's upstairs...
Meg: I know where the first aid kit is! As a matter of fact I know where everything in this house is because up until a few days ago this was my house!
Maria: I'm sorry Meg.
Meg: Are you?
Maria: This is about what I said at the Deep, isn't it?
Meg: What did you say?
Maria: That I was Ben's wife.
Meg: You are Ben's wife. But there's one little thing you're leaving out of the equation.
Maria: What's that?
Meg: Me! You may be Ben's wife but I love him just as much as you do and no matter how much you wish me away I will not disappear, Maria!

Meg: He's impossible to give up.

Maria: I'm not ashamed of my feelings for you, Ben.
Ben: And I'm not ashamed of mine. Nor am I ashamed of my feelings for Meg.

Maria: (to herself) How can I make you love me again if you still love Meg.

Meg: How are you feeling?
Ben: Oh, my head's fine, it's my heart that's the problem. Meg I... I understand why you're not with me, but it doesn't make it any easier living... living without you.
Meg: It isn't easy for me either.
Ben: There's nothing we can do? There's no way you can see yourself coming back to me? Meg?
Meg: Maybe there is. I don't wanna lose you. Ben, I.. You don't know how much it would mean to me if I could just come home with you and build our lives together.
Ben: You can. Come back with me.
Meg: No.
Ben: Why? Because Maria's in the house?
Meg: Because of you. Ben, I know that you love me but I need your entire heart. I won't settle. I want all of you! I deserve that much.
Ben: That you do and I want to give you that.

Annie: I know that look. It's Ben, isn't it?
Maria: I still love him, Annie. But things just aren't the same for him.
Annie: What do you mean?
Maria: He loves Meg now. And it's different with her. It's bigger.

Tim bugs Sara. Casey isn't too happy.
Sara: Casey, it's okay. I can handle Tim. I've had a lot of practice dealing with his type of Washington.

Casey: By the time I get back...
Sara: ... he will be gone.
Casey: Good. I'm looking forward to it.

Meg: Ben, I have tried to convince myself that you're not going to end up with her but to be honest with you, I am scared to death that you are and I think that you are, too.
Ben: The only thing I'm afraid of is losing you.

Ben: Meg, where you going?
Meg: Ben, I love you, but until you let go of Maria I can't see you anymore.
Ben: Meg!!! I can't let go of...

Annie: It's about to send that hey-hoo back to the barn.
Ben: I never said anything about my relationship with Meg being over, Annie. Not that it would concern you even if I did. Now, if you don't mind...?
Annie: What?
Ben: Leaving? "Out" as in "time to go"...
Annie: Ben, that's so rude!
Ben: As in "mind your own business"...
Annie: Well, no, I mean, I was talking to Maria!
Ben: As in...
Annie: ...this is my business!
Ben: Right. Say good-bye, Annie.
Annie: Bye.
Ben: Much better.

Vanessa: Meg, come on! Do you really think that Ben is going to choose Maria over YOU?!
