Chapter
Five
MESSAGES TO INDIGOS FROM AN INDIGO
This
chapter is my attempt to touch on the different challenges we face and yet, do
that which we came to do. One message will explain the many adventures
that humans experienced prior to our coming so that we can better understand as
we play with these same emotions.
Classroom
Earth:
How does the world work? Who is God?
What is heaven? What is death? Why am I here?" Perhaps we silently ask,
"How do I fit in?" As a teen, these questions burned inside of me. Our
yearning to belong is a desire to reconnect to our spiritual self--the self that
is whole and not separated into a variety of roles whom everyone expects us to
be, which is a perpetual struggle. We struggle to unveil the true
me. Each of us is a spiritual being having a physical experience.
Have you heard of the term "reincarnation"? Two-thirds of the people on Earth believe in reincarnation because of ancient knowledge passed down from generation to generation.
In the
beginning when all humans were spiritual beings, Spirit, in the form of
co-creators, gave humans a planet to which Soul/ Minds could descend and call
home. But in order to take residence here, there were two conditions. First,
Soul/ Minds would forget their original roles in order to fully experience life
on Earth, which included a new feature in the form of emotions, never having
been experienced before. Secondly,
in order to return to Spirit, they would have to live their lives in such ways
that eventually they would regain their memory of who they were, which was a
state of Love.
Edgar Cayce, the famous "Sleeping
Prophet," described Earth as a classroom. Before each new lifetime, Soul/Minds
draw up a set of blueprints generally planning their coming life’s experiences
so that over lifetimes, they experience all of the human emotions, both good and
bad, until they come to know compassion, tolerance, understanding, the oneness
of humanity,
and Love. On planet Earth, they can only learn through living and
doing. In the work place, it is called "on-the-job training."
We might picture each Soul/Mind as being a shining essence at an A+ level when entering the first grade, but once schooling commences, doors are shut against leaving until graduation from high school. It cannot graduate until all of the classes of the human experiences have been passed, including the panoply of human emotions that perfect wisdom and ability. It chooses when it is ready to pass to the next grade.
Some humans prefer to linger in the lower grades because it is easier, which delays their passing to the next grade level, but that is permissible. They have all of eternity to get there. Others work hard selecting many experiences for each life, failing at some, succeeding in others, but ever passing to the next grade level. They are almost ready to remember who they are and become once again shining, spiritual beings. Many are caught in these classrooms until Love guides their emotions.
It was a choice
made a very long time ago and they are tied to Earth until they regain their
faster vibrational state.
They evaluate their life experiences in
between lifetimes and plan further opportunities to progress or perhaps
overcome choices made in the past that didn't work. When they pass to the other
side of the veil of life and death, they have spiritual guidance in selecting
their next set of explorations on Earth.
The system under which reincarnation
works is called "karma" or the law of cause and effect. The
experiences bring out emotions within, both good and bad. There are only two
main emotions, love and fear, and all other emotions stem from those in
different forms such as anger, hate, compassion, sympathy, the usual ones.
Because human feelings are so difficult to understand, many individuals act out
both
as victimizer and victim.
As an
example, if during a lifetime a
person should deny the freedom of another, then perhaps in another lifetime that
individual may choose to be a slave or enslaved in a disabled body and thus is
forced, under drastic conditions, to understand how painful and heartbreaking it
is to have no control of her/his life. If one doesn’t understand racial
differences, the individual may select lifetimes in each of the races until the
strengths and weaknesses of each culture is assimilated. Perhaps one has killed,
not realizing the sacredness of life and may choose various ways
in which to
be killed until the command of thou shalt not kill is not a physical
command, but transmuted into
realizing
that all of life is valuable and sacred.
Emotions tie humans to karma, and after passing through the veil of
death, when they review their lifetime it saddens them if they see that they
failed once again to be released from the throes of such negativity, which still
tarnish their shining essence. It is not punishment, but a balancing of emotions
and, unfortunately, much of the time humans seem to emote and act out more
destructively than constructively.
The loss of remembering who they are acts as a catalyst to try harder,
for Soul/Minds are the essence of Love, but they
forget this once they descend to Earth and wade through the grasping
fingers of Ego and feelings. They keep polishing their weaknesses in order to
increase access to the Light of their essence, for as long as their outer light
is dim, they remain in classrooms. Their goal is to not only remember their
spiritual essence, but to express it in their everyday lives.
Another aspect of Earth is the pull of opposites, commonly referred to
as polarity or duality. This is a
form of friction commensurate with creation and covers every aspect of Earth
life, generally classified as good/bad, positive/negative, or
constructive/destructive, another catalystic tool for change. Whenever humans
are able to walk through experiences in ways that balance,
harmonize
(good/positive),
and overcome chaos,
disharmony (bad/negative), they attract to themselves faster vibrations
of Light, resulting in clearer Thoughts. At that point, Thoughts and emotions function almost as one and act as fuel for their
behavior, which determine their oscillations (grade levels).
They often repeat classes, selecting
familiar places and individuals to share experiences. Lifetimes can add talents,
qualities, traits, characteristics, strengths, or weaknesses, depending upon
their choices. They always have free will when selecting.
Once they remember any destructive patterns, they can cleanse and heal,
thereby moving closer to their spiritual beingness.
Emotional maturity may determine how difficult selected life experiences
shall be. Paths of destruction do not lead them closer to the Light, but it does
teach the pain that accompanies such pathways.
If they fail to complete projected
blueprints, they may possibly choose them again as they can't move on to more
progressive projects until these are complete.
They can't leap from tenth grade to graduation without completing the
necessary classes.
Some of them choose to be born into
families who do not appear to have their best interests at heart. Perhaps as
children they are abused, neglected, and not taught the proper life skills, which hamper their ability to function for their highest good. It is possible that they come into these families to help
everyone understand some facet of love, but at the same time, they are degraded
and debased, riding the highs and lows of an emotional roller coaster as they
struggle to leap over hurdles. Thus they learn much about strength, courage,
compassion, accomplishment, and tolerance. They
also may select what appears to be the easier path and turn to drugs, alcohol,
abuse, and violence. It is a matter of choice.
Experiences of Earth have not been easy
and Indigos are here as spiritual gifts to help
transmute, alter,
and correct
negativity into the spiritual beauty of Love, for we have come in answer to the
calls from Earth.
Thought,
a tool of our Soul/Minds:
The Ego-brain cannot block
totally the Soul/Mind of an Indigo because our circuitry is different.
Consequently,
we Indigos have
clearer access to the higher consciousness, the facet of our
Soul/Minds where manifestation is seeded. Whatever is conceived in our
Soul/Minds, our
higher consciousness, becomes Thought. Thoughts
are energetic, energies are movers,
and we create that which we picture in our
Soul/Minds. If we truly believe it, we
have the ability to create.
To bring any creation into our reality, first we must clean out
old garbage that has collected in our present lifetime, heal past wounds,
realize the drag of false pride, exercise compassion, reject any suggestions of
revenge or retaliation, and seek avenues of action that unite rather than
separate us.
We do have a passion that
burns inside to make things better for everyone.
In order to do this, we must recognize that how we think produces that
which we think. Necessarily, we
maintain
in our thinking
emotions of good will and good actions towards all.
I suggest that by becoming aware that our Thoughts create experiences for
us, good and bad, we will discover new ways of advancing our goals,
and consequently
ideals within others,
and consequently our world!
We strive to always remember who we are and who we choose to be. As long as we create peace within ourselves, in our
surrounding environment, and retain our visions of harmony, Love and Light, we
are, indeed, creating the foundation for peace.
There is a part of us, deep inside, enfolding us in Love and extending
support and guidance in our pathways toward satisfaction and completion.
This process accelerates when we educate ourselves, whether by objective
study or subjective personal experiences, which stir us to
recall that which we already know. We
may further enhance our seeking by quieting our brains through meditation,
prayer,
and dreams.
The TV show Touched
By An Angel poignantly dramatizes our need for spiritual answers.
This show would not have lasted if collectively
there were not a deep yearning
within to find something greater than our physical beingness.
We block our beneficial energies when we judge ourselves as being unworthy.
Judgments of this
nature seal closed our pathways of lucid dreaming and our further ability to
bring our dreams into reality. Our Thoughts and emotions have creative powers.
Repressive points of view cloud our visions, as well as those around us,
dragging all of us into a whirlpool of darkness. When we radiate our essence,
our worthiness,
and our compassion, the vibrations flowing outwardly from us can
actually lighten (lighten up) others. This
is why some people seem to glow when entering a room and others respond to the
vibrations.
Political and religious leaders, actors, and actresses have
conditioned themselves to emanate emotional vibrations of such intensity as to
influence their audience to believe their dialogues.
They are said to have charisma. Leaders,
both beneficial and dictatorial, passionately believe so completely in
themselves and the force of their Thoughts that they hypnotize and capture their
audience. There are educational
courses teaching the fundamentals of winning friends and influencing others.
We Indigos are born with these abilities, and they are intense.
Although we come to be helpful, when blocked from remembering our purpose
we can project these same energies to harm others, even ourselves.
We have been programmed by
society and religions to
believe that we must totally understand the difference between good and evil
actions before we can consciously choose the right conduct
for the greatest good
for ourselves, which then becomes the greatest good for others.
But truly there is a part of us that does know the difference,
IF
we can recognize our true desires, those based in Love and Light that we
brought in with us, and let them become real in our hearts, thereby expunging
any feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness we may be harboring.
These darker emotions
saturate the ethers globally. Are
we overly influenced by what we see and hear through the media?
There is something in the nature of humans that seemingly causes us to be
more interested in bad news than good. The
media obliges us by concentrating on areas that increase their circulation.
We Indigos must remember this is what we came to help alleviate. Earth
has been embroiled in depression and negativity for so long, it is difficult to
throw it off. In our innocence and
ignorance,
we have allowed human emotional, cellular memories to overwhelm us. Stories
and myths from all civilizations have passed down through the generations by
word of mouth and in pictures. In
these stories there is always the promise of something better coming, something
that creates hope.
Within all of us there is
a silent knowing that stimulates us to seek higher vistas, more lofty goals,
higher principles, a better understanding of the meaning of our lives, and better
technology to serve humanity. Up to
now
much of our better technology has been developed for war, not peace.
When we remember that everyone wants their lives to be wonderful, all
things are possible. Our Thoughts,
emotions,
and actions can produce wonderful results.
By recognizing our own desires and capabilities, we can bring about
incredible shifts in our own space that will ripple ever outward.
For those who have not yet understood the power of their
Soul/Minds,
then I remind you that in order to manifest, think
and envision a picture of your desired creation, including all of the details
you can conceive, concentrate on it with intensity and passion, believe it, know
it,
and let the Thought go. Take whatever actions may be necessary in order to
start movement. Continue your
lives, knowing that the energies are manifesting,
and one day the creation will
appear. One word of caution: often
under the influence of the shadows around us we may unconsciously become
engrossed in Thoughts that may be detrimental to others or us, and they, too,
will manifest. This is how we often
bring woe upon our heads or block us from receiving necessities.
Let us spread our Thoughts, emotions, and actions of compassion,
tolerance, understanding, and Love out into the ethers wherever we go.
Let us negate any emotions that may lead to Thoughts and feelings of fear
or insecurity, thereby eliminating anything that does not serve the highest good
of all. By Thoughtfully choosing to
be more aware of our emotions and mental energies, we can recreate our space.
It is only in having the courage to try that we will learn the results of
our adventures.
Collective consciousness is my way of describing a manifestation
that occurs when enough of us get together and send out like Thoughts with like
intensity and purpose for globally these become powerful instruments of action.
Nothing can change until we collectively seek and desire peace.
Throughout the people of Earth there is a lack of hope overwhelming young adults
and propelling their children into areas that hurt them.
All of us seek peace, except perhaps those few who profit in some manner
by such dissension, violence, and wars. Our call has been heard, yet it is still
up to each of us who desire harmony to assist in bringing it to fruition. Spirit
is reaching out celestial help in our times of grief and pain, eager to guide us
out of our dark realities when we cry out for balance and harmony.
Part of the solution lies in the fact that we must cast aside
everything and every idea that separates us, one from another.
It is time to look at each other and see our commonality, and with
patience, compassion, and understanding come together in peace and love. Spirit
is sending healing energy and inspirational guidance.
It may not be discernible and we fail to recognize this, thus not acting
on our ideas and expressing appreciation for the blessings we have received and
those we are about to receive.
What I am saying is that the gift of
life and knowledge is before us. We cannot learn if we allow others to do that
which we need to do. In peaceful
and loving ways we are here to assist in bringing about the new Earth by
utilizing those talents that we have, knowing
that we are not separate and apart from each other. It is ours to demonstrate life by the manner in which we live
it, day-by-day.
Since we know that Spirit and Love and Light are synonymous, then
it is our task to realign with this sacred language of Spirit. This is what is
meant by Christianity’s reference to the “ living word.” It is not Jesus
either being the living word or returning as the living word.
It is we bringing into reality a higher degree of consciousness, far
greater than what we see on the news where the people of the world are erupting,
for they are clamoring for change and acting out their passion.
In essence, these battles are about making good or bad choices.
Most humans consciously choose love, peace, balance,
and harmony within
this reality. The world may appear
to be mentally and emotionally breaking down, but structures that lack harmony
and sincere humanitarian purpose are being exposed for what they are.
The past hundred years cover incredible changes in conscious
evolution:
§
Voting rights for women and minorities;
§
Promoting better systems of basic human rights worldwide;
§
Equitable job opportunities have advanced in some areas;
§
Some improvement in
health benefits;
§
Some improvement of social conditions in a few undeveloped
countries.
We still reel from
shock waves reverberating from incredible leaps, but we are racing toward new
and more fantastic awakenings and a quickening.
Pathways of evolution have and always will be continuous flows with
ongoing effects determined by human Thought, emotions, and actions.
To consciously create a purer path of evolution is to Thoughtfully
visualize vibrations of compassion, peace, and balance that lead toward the
life-giving frequencies of Spirit. Paths
of devolution consist of destruction, separation, immobility, ignorance, and a
lack of compassion and consideration.
As we awaken, various social and political systems are changing slightly, but perhaps
this may be only a temporary change? This
is what we Indigos are capable of
helping
to permanently improve and establish.
We individually become conscious of our purpose and our abilities,
however small they may be,
and wherever we may better a situation.
“One small grain of sand at a time doth a mountain make.”
We have the knowledge to eliminate
unfair distribution of goods, services, food, and methods of exchange.
We have the information to stop toxic waste and even cleanse existing
pollution. We have the capacity
within our cellular structure to alter and strengthen human body cells to resist
certain diseases now raging globally. Our
Thoughts are able to more clearly operate from our higher consciousness, our
Minds, and we are able to communicate with each other and all life forms
sincerely, simply, and honestly. We
have the faculties to accomplish anything that we so choose when we collectively
utilize our Thoughtful spirituality. Indigos
will understand what I am saying, for Indigos know. Indigos awaken!
As we awaken:
§
We shall realize that
dwelling on any past emotional wounds is a useless waste of energy,
and we remember how to forgive
ourselves and heal all such imagined injuries.
§
We remember the power of
Thoughts
and how to manifest within our
lives that which others and we need.
§
Out of compassion,
we remember how to share with others.
§
We remember and see the sameness within each whom we meet.
§
We take our Egos in hand, love them, and firmly tell them that
they are to merge within our total beingness for our Soul/Minds now control, and we
are safe.
§
We remember to no longer
wallow in boredom or sloth,
because we are so excited,
and busy doing what we are best at doing.
§
We remember and no longer accept a duality of good and evil for
we only exist within Love and Spirit.
Thus we prepare Earth
ready to receive
the Third Wave of Indigos.
Building
the bridge:
Indigos build the bridge between first Earth and second Earth. The ways in which we think and respond to challenges in life create our character, and reveal who we are. With unlimited possibilities at our disposal, our choices reflect our perceptions and how we relate to the outside world. Every choice made is like a universe in itself, and from the original choice another universe of latent, new avenues of expansion open. We are like universes walking within a universe among others also experiencing their personal worlds. It can be likened to being presented with a smorgasbord of tempting delicacies, and yet our choices may and can alter our realities and direction.
What does all this mean? Simply that we alter our emotional, mental, and physical matrices with every decision we make. At times we recognize that we have power over our lives. At other moments we may feel stuck, frozen, and unable to move, but this is only because we have blocked our Minds, thereby losing the captain of our ship and missing direction from our navigator in the essence of our higher consciousness, the core of our spiritual ingenuity.
Ultimately
there exists in every sailing on life’s seas, the option of charting a course
that may be good for us or may be to our detriment, which some may call good or
bad, right or wrong. “How can I make a good choice; one that will help me and
others?” When we come to plotting
our course, we may embrace seas so rough that we are tossed around by waves that
impede our forward movements. These
waves batter those who ride these storms with us.
When do our selections become good or
bad? It is totally dependent on
what we individually seek out of life. If we desire to be a healer, then we must
decide in what area of healing, and how best to acquire those skills for healers
ply their energies in all arenas of life, at times without consciously realizing
it. Do we desire to be a doctor,
nurse, dentist, counselor, faith healer, emotional stabilizer, shaman, or
medicine man/woman? If we feel
strongly about vocations that need specialized skills, then we research our
alternatives of education and master such skills.
If we choose to uplift people through laughter, then the path of the
comedian is the answer. If
handcrafts fit our purpose, then we search for an outlet that best dramatizes
our artistry.
We may commence our adult path by
education in areas that pique our interest, journal our feelings about it, and
ultimately select what feels right in our hearts.
In quiet times we are able to tap channels that allow Spirit, in any
form, to guide and direct us. The
faster vibrations guide us in visualizing our ultimate goals, assist us in
embarking on our new courses, and we sail the seas of education and practice
until we pulsate with new, living vibrations--tools to assist us in our tasks.
One crystallized, human concept by which we may be mentally and emotionally bound are religious teachings that assert that humans are inherently evil. Such a concept can suspend us in a maelstrom of indecision and doubt, freezing our purpose at its inception before it can materialize. Hence, our talents become buried. Perhaps it is more correct to say that humankind often lacks the vision to transmute emotions of depression, and defeat this fear by venturing into unexplored seas of experience, which leave us feeling incomplete and unfulfilled.
A CAPABILITY THAT IS NOT UTILIZED IS AS USELESS AS HAVING NOTHING.
When we Indigos support each other in every way we can, we leap over
barriers and accomplish the projects we came to transform, perhaps implement,
and instead we may choose to ignore those individuals who still enjoy drama and
chaos. Their shoes don’t fit.
We build bridges for others to walk
across by laying one understanding and compassionate brick at a time, just as we
allow our fullest abilities to plant one seed at a time. The sun in rising
illuminates the shadows. As the sun
approaches its zenith, we build bridges from this vibrational world to the next.
We are the builders!
Our
greatest mystery:
No one truly knows
what God, or Allah, or Brahma is. I suggest that Spirit and God/Allah/Brahma
are synonymous, but have been pictured with human characteristics in order to
produce an image conceivable within the parameters of the human Ego/brain.
Thereafter dogma and ceremonies began coalescing as a result of human
effort. How do we personally feel
about any concept of the totality of a divine something? How do we explain or
begin to understand such a divine totality in a way that we can fervently know
in our hearts and Soul/Minds?
I suggest that the divine totality,
which I shall refer to as Spirit, is everything,
whether human, animal, plant, mineral, water, air, fire, or earth. We might
picture the essence of Spirit to be like a large body of water. In that water is
all that is needed to beget everything that exists. A good example is when
viewing a drop of water, we see a sphere with no beginning or ending. If
we spread these droplets from this body of water in all directions, these
droplets continue to retain the original essence of the larger body of water.
Everything, including us, are drops of
Spirit in different forms. Spirit, that infinite, unlimited, indescribable,
glorious energy is the Creator and primal vibration, and all that exist are its
creations. The stars, moons, planets, water, animals, plants, people, Thoughts,
dust, and every iota of matter and anti-matter are all aspects of this Spirit
essence.
We Indigos may not remember what Spirit
is, but deep within each of us there is a powerful desire to be a part of
something or someone that we cannot explain. I believe that the ultimate
creative energy of Spirit is found in the various facets of Love, i.e.
compassion, empathy, parental love, family love,
and romantic love, all
coalescing into Unconditional Love. I feel that Spirit energy is neither
male nor female gender, but in an act of creation combines its
positive/masculine/creative powers with its passive/feminine/informational
powers. Positive/creative frequencies without the passive/information
oscillations cannot bring into manifestation the forms it desires.
Electricity is described as being made up of positive and negative energies.
Love operates along the same principles.
The fetters of restriction and limitation that Indigos encounter when we
enter the vibrations of Earth can deter us in our purpose.
We have spiritual help to overcome such blockages, but how?
Love is Spiritual expression, which we often call the Light. When
we feel this as an emotion within us, we are in the presence of Spirit. We
feel Spirit in many diverse and simple areas such as looking into the eyes of a newborn baby, the excitement of
climbing a mountain, viewing the expansive ocean, inhaling sea air, music, in
ways too numerous to name. Spirit
is a sense of the ecstasy of
Love that we feel within; a vibrational warmth that
dispels our sense of aloneness.
It may be that we only have small, occasional glimpses of these moments because we have not remembered how to remain in this awareness. Within
Love there is Light, which lightens shadows that then fade into illusions on
this physical plane. The depth of such darkness that we allow to infiltrate our
emotions and Thoughts will determine the height of Love expressing in our daily
lives.
How can Light and Love be within us?
A sacred, silent language of Spirit penetrates everything and we are
connected by this silent communication that speaks to us on all levels.
Why does Spirit allow chaos and destruction?
We cause chaos and destruction by our choices. We can
be like creators with amnesia who do not realize who we are. Chaos and
destruction act as catalysts impelling us to examine more closely our current
realities. We may not understand the whole picture, but pieces fit
together if we include Unconditional Love in any decision that we make. If
we choose to separate ourselves from others who hold different beliefs and ideas,
or are of a different race or ethnic background, then we are barring access to
our Indigo
Soul/Minds. We all have a
uniqueness to give to the whole of creation. Differences can act as
catalysts to mirror back opportunities to expand our explorations.
It is so easy to forget or ignore our continuous oneness with Spirit and
its
unending creations.
Without recognizing our connection to
Spirit, we may shrivel from lack of Love. We have the ability to see perfection
in all of life, whether human, animal, vegetable,
or mineral. Life is composed of light and shadows touching, mingling,
and
separating in an ever-flowing circle. Earth’s vibrations may
produce shadowy shields that deflect and blind our psychic eyes from seeing the
spiritual Light enfolding Earth and its many life forms.
It is time to remove the blinders, remember, roll up our sleeves,
and
courageously utilize our capabilities that we intuitively know.
Among other tasks, we have come to
lighten (lighten up) the return to Spirit of those like the old man who waits to
die. He is tired and drained, his
body aches, his eyes droop, and wrinkles cover his weak, old body.
He is done with it, tired, confused, lonely, knowing that death and
rebirth await him. His illusions
drown his Thoughts and fill him with grief, sadness, loneliness, and fear because
of that which he believes is coming in the form of death.
His spiritual self yearns to go home, a place he feels he has always
known, but cannot remember. At the
end with one last breath he will let go into total Love for Light has lifted
the veil of illusion.
We may not be able to lighten others in a direct manner, but we will
discover little ways in which we can express to others that the legacy of Spirit
is a never-ending story, and it continues throughout eternity, beyond that which is referred to
as time and space. Spirit is within
each on Earth and creates ad infinitum.
Religion is humanity's way of bringing
structure, rules, and laws into some type of interaction by and with Spirit, but
sees Spirit as outside of our essence. We
know that Spirit is within our Soul/Minds, symbolized as our hearts. We know it. We
may take many paths to find our spiritual selves within, but at times there is a
faint glimmer of Light that propels us forward. When we recognize that we
are a facet of Spirit experiencing on Earth, and that we are loved, that we are
Love, then we will have merged our invisible heaven with our visible Earth
during our sojourn on this planet. It
is this knowledge that we are to bring to others by various means for we have
the spiritual insight to know which methods will produce the greatest benefits.
Spirituality:
Recognizing our sense of spirituality
allows us to come forth with all of our potentially pure creativity. It joyfully
reveals our nature, which is Love in all of its different forms.
All people are spiritual beings regardless of different beliefs or
customs. Spirituality is a state of being that is universal and not saved for
special groups. When a child prays a Christian prayer, is it any less in value
than a child who prays a Buddhist prayer, a Hindu prayer,
or an Islamic prayer?
Is there a difference when a Christian mother prays to God for healing of
her sick child,
or a Hindu mother calling on Brahman?
All prayers flow into the great cosmic source of Spirit.
The ecstasy we feel while in a spiritual state, whether in a church,
mosque, nature,
or a private moment is no different in its ultimate expression.
Researchers have found an area of the
brain that either reacts to or excites spiritual ecstasy.
They have not yet determined whether the response is an action or
reaction. They find it to have the
same response in any brain, regardless of race, gender, or religious background.
The bliss of Spirit is universal.
In this and other lifetimes, humans have experienced intolerance of other faiths and ethnic groups, and this is one of our tasks to change. Intolerance leads to a blind passion to convert all those who believe along different lines, even if the variances are infinitesimal. I recall in my youth having conversations with others dedicated to their religious tenets (usually Christian) and we reached points of stalemate, often antagonism, in attempting to convince each other in the rightness of our point of view.
Another's
beliefs are no less important than mine and perhaps more
personally
appropriate
at this time. When
we mentally and emotionally live in different realities, we are unable to reach
common ground.
My Christian background preached hell and brimstone, which
paralyzed me in fear. I became more
and more confused about God and what laws I should follow in order to be good.
I did not find my Truth through such means. In time I realized that religion has little to do with
spirituality. A religious practice
is not a prerequisite to being spiritual. Our
very natures are Spirit.
Communing with Spirit is free--no
strings attached. Every one of us
is an aspect of that whole Spirit. No
one and nothing is omitted. Remembering
that all of life is spiritual maintains it within our consciousness.
Spirituality is a sense of knowing in all moments of our lives, no matter
how mundane, laborious, or trivial they may seem.
Should humans expect to hear God’s deep rumbling voice coming from the clouds? Perhaps this is a memory of controlling religions from the past stored deep within our cells.
Many seek God in the form of a physical entity.
Can we accept a concept that says:
(1)
Our every thought and action is
Spirit.
(2)
Spirit interacts and moves in and out
of all of creation.
(3)
We are an aspect of Spirit
experiencing on Earth.
It is not just one movement, but all
movements. All is Spirit in action.
Everyone shares a spiritual connection. All seeds sprout from one vibrational source. We may pray in diverse ceremonies, our physical appearances may vary, and our traditions vary, but we all call on a higher power. We share a deep desire to know Spirit, and it matters not whether we are Buddhist, Christian, Jew, Muslim, or any other, we may not force others to believe as we do. These senseless arguments lead to violence, cruel intolerance, and religious wars. As of the moment horrific examples of ethnic cleansings and jihads are erupting globally.
The Harmonic Convergence, peaceful assemblies, and meditations
by we who believe in the power of Love also are expanding globally to ameliorate
these unenlightened shadowy energies.
The path to Spirit is unique for everyone.
Our intention reaps results in proportion to the energy we use in our
seeking. Many cling to ancestral
tales of yesterday. Some religions
are based on historical events. The structuring of a religion decides who and what is
important and what is to be ignored. Interpretations
differ causing confusion and conflict. We
harvest better information when we place our focus on the sameness and not the
separateness.
As global awareness grows in recognizing the value of all life,
our world can leap forward in understanding.
A revival of Spirit plays out first within us,
then our homes,
cities, states, countries, and globally. We
can collectively realize that Spirit is universal and reaches us in ways not
always recognized. Does it matter
if Spirit likes apples or oranges? Of
course not! Globally we are coming
into a great rejuvenation of the human heart, whether in private moments, within
the community of a church, art, or nature.
The term “spirituality” may be simply a word to explain a
changing consciousness within us; something that is moving our hearts.
As a Chinese proverb says, “If there is light in the soul, there will
be beauty in the person. If there
is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house. If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the
nation. If there is order in the
nation, there will be peace in the world.”
