Chapter One

 INDIGOS:  WAY-SHOWERS, HEALERS, 

AND SYSTEMS BUSTERS

I write as an Indigo with two small Indigo children, which qualifies me to share what I know, what I intuitively receive, and what I am experiencing, both within myself and in raising my children.

For those of  my readers who are at a loss as to what I mean when I say “Indigo children,” it is describing Soul/Minds who have come to help make changes that have been anticipated for eons of time.  

My definition of a Soul/Mind is the same as what is commonly called the Soul with all of the intelligence and consciousness of what psychiatrists define as conscious, conscious, and superconscious; it is that intangible connection between our spiritual self and our brain.  A brain is a physical organ of the body which can block information coming in from the subconscious and superconsciousness, and is controlled by the Ego and Ego-emotions..  (For a more all-inclusive explanation of this concept I refer you to http://geocities.com/joanavonne/index.html, Chapter Six.) 

Our present generation feels a sense of transition, yet Ego/brains are focused on a slower moving sense of shifting realities. We Indigos are Soul/Minds incarnating to help free the Thoughts and hearts of humankind. Much, much too long have the burdens of humanity been heavy due to financial struggle, war, poverty, ill health, lack of freedom, and all of the encompassing Thoughts, emotions, and actions accompanying such oppression.  We all seek to be lifted out of the cold, damp morass of depression and sense of hopelessness in which we often  sink.

Why are we called Indigos?  We come from what is commonly referred to as the blue and purple vibrations.  Indigos deeply desire to communicate and make changes.  Soul/Minds who come from the blue frequencies have mastered communication, corresponding to the throat on the human body.  This is a vibration that humankind have long anticipated and Indigos work predominantly within these energies.  Blue oscillating Soul/Minds are also working with vibrations of purple, our connection to Spirit.  Thus Indigos utilize both blue and purple frequencies.  The purple corresponds to the Third Eye, considered by ancients to be our connection to Spirit. 

Indigo Soul/Minds descend through several faster vibrations of white, gold, and purple before we can inhabit Earth's heavier vibrations.

These various levels of vibrations enable Indigos to help effectuate changes for Earth through utilizing diverse forms of spiritually oriented communication, which concentrated focus heavily stresses love, peace, tolerance, and understanding in humanity’s mundane, day-to-day experiences.  We can do this through various media sources such as TV shows, movies, books, stage plays, talk shows, dialogues, newspapers, ad infinitum.  We Indigos use our lives to vibrate these colors through our Thoughts and actions with others by demonstrating them in our life styles.  We channel these faster vibrations in our workplaces, churches, schools, playgrounds, friendships, and wherever we may be.

When as toddlers and of pre-school age, parents and other influential adults can provide the necessary boosts to help Indigos discover latent gifts and talents.  They are in a position to open every avenue available to help these young ones understand their differences, and support and protect them through these delicate years as they experiment.  They become collaborators with Indigos in pursuing their goals and freeing them from restraints that would otherwise inhibit a continuous and clear flow of frequencies into and through their Soul/Minds and bodies.

Entering the impact of Earth’s slower vibrations is traumatic, and being unsophisticated and unworldly in the area of human emotions, we can be like innocent lambs led to the slaughter.  It becomes extremely difficult to find or even follow the course we once charted.  We are here to rip open the veils that have blinded humanity for eons, but under these Earthly conditions we may have difficulty seeing through the veil ourselves.  Negative emotions and Thoughts in our immediate environment create static in our direct channels to enlightenment and Unconditional Love in faster vibrations.

Not all humans born into this world over the past 35 years are Indigos. Eight-five percent of the babies born during the First Wave have come in as Indigos.  

Many who are not Indigos have not reached the same levels of understanding and mastery of Unconditional Love, and are scurrying to catch up in order to sustain themselves in the ever increasing electromagnetic frequencies of Earth.  Many Soul/Minds with older bodies won’t make it and will pass over to return in altered bodies in a new earthly era, and join all others on the new Earth.

There are presently incarnated in bodies Soul/Minds who are here only as observers and others who have knowingly come to cause chaos. 

Yet some who do slip into these vibrations are not capable of holding them.  These individuals often become mentally and emotionally out of balance, or pass on because their bodies cannot sustain the increasing intense vibrations.  They are playing a game in which they did not understand the rules before entering.

The Second Wave is composed of approximately 95% Indigos coming through, and the Third Wave will be 100% Indigos or Soul/Minds having vibratory rates of like or more advanced abilities, for the oscillations will be so rapid then that no other bodies can endure them. 

We Indigos do not carry a heavy load of Karma when we incarnate. We are totally free to create something new since this is what we are here to do. Sensitive to our unlimited freedom, our energies vibrate faster. Indigo children quickly can be recognized by the amount of energy expressed during activities. Often these children are misdiagnosed as having ADD, ADHD, a chemical imbalance, a learning disability, or perhaps multiple personalities.

Having a degree in Psychology, being a First Wave Indigo and understanding Indigos from a metaphysical perspective, I am saddened knowing of the amount of prescription drugs forced by parents and teachers upon many of these children.  Clinicians who diagnose an Indigo as having a disorder literally devastate the psyche of that child because s/he is hearing others say in so many words that s/he is broken. 

Spiritual teachers have prophesied that the children will lead us back. Indigos are gifts from the faster vibrations to those individuals in the slower frequencies. We grow up and join the community as healers, builders, spiritual leaders, politicians, computer programmers, scientists, teachers, lawyers, doctors, correction, and probation officers, marine biologists, and environmentalists; any area where we can improve conditions for Earth and all of its life forms. We come to infiltrate  the political and social systems and introduce a  more holistic approach.  We have the ability to join a system and not break it down, but to bring creative heart and Thought into any area that vibrationally attracts us.

Although Indigos have the ability to create, often if they become frustrated and feel backed against a wall, they may choose destruction, either of own lives or seek to destroy societies’ enterprises by some aggressive action.

 Parents of Indigos are to give these children much love, attention, and guidance. Parents often naturally assume that if Indigos are so advanced and come informed, then they should know what to do and automatically fix things. It is imperative that parents understand Indigo children are learning what it is like to be human. Indigos, born as babies into this world and limited by brains and emotional immaturity, make mistakes.

  As humans we are not perfect, but our hearts shine brightly and we will be recognized by our energy levels reflective of Indigos.

Indigos often feel emotions more intensely than others as we make no effort to protect ourselves by closing our auras and hearts.  We may express our emotions more passionately as they are new to us, and it is not natural to exercise control.

The essential aspect that makes Indigos different is that we come in with our energies vibrating at accelerated speeds. We are advanced prototypes of humans. Our Soul/Minds move at the speed of light, far faster than our Ego-brains can allow.  We fumble with our weighty, sluggish bodies.  Indigos have a difficult time following directions;  we can visualize better ways to accomplish the same task.  Our Soul/Minds travel from Thought to Thought as well as simultaneously in many other realities invisible to the human eye.

When lacking necessary knowledge and appreciation, parents of Indigo children may conclude that we are malfunctioning, demanding too much personal attention and time, and in every respect being too difficult. We Indigos are coming into human bodies that have remained physically the same for thousands of years, but through our energies, we are able to bring about physical changes to strengthen the human body to develop natural immunity to certain diseases, add another helix to the DNA, and modify brains to allow Soul/Minds to function more efficiently.  Through this process we may stumble around a bit, for the slower frequencies and societal restraints impede our abilities.

Parents with little time or patience become frustrated and pushed past their limits of endurance.  It is not easy raising Indigo children, but the First Wave came to birth the new generation, who are even more energetic and vibrant than we were at their age.

The information I receive from Spirit defines three different phases of Indigos entering Earth’s plane.

The ages of the First Wave range from approximately 35 years old to 13 years of age.

The First Wave will birth the Second Wave Indigos.  The Second Wave range from 12 years old to those who will be coming in during the next twelve years. The Second Wave will birth the Third Wave Indigos.

The Third Wave come in with the Christ/Buddhic consciousness. (These actually may include some of the "Psychic children" James Twyman speaks about in his book Emissaries of Love.) 

In each Wave the vibrations increase as First Wave parents would not have the energy levels necessary to raise Third Wave children. 

My mother, age 61, has great difficulty keeping up with my son, age four. She loves him dearly, but after a day of chasing him around is thankful when I come home from work. Once the Third Wave begin to be born, Indigos will have more opportunities than the first two Waves because of better educational systems, parental guidance, healing, and spiritual centers. Earth will have accelerated to oscillations sufficient to allow the Third Wave to enter.

“There is a period for every purpose.”  Ecclesiastes 3.3.

As is seen by the records and myths of the history of Earth, at certain times there has been a great teacher who appeared, taught certain truths, and imparted esoteric information.  His or her own demonstration beckoned humanity to follow paths that would awaken and stimulate them to question if this is who they desired to be, as far as they desired to evolve, and is this all that life had to offer?

Each time a truly enlightened, spiritual leader publicly proclaimed his or her mission and teachings, it seemed to be a reiteration, although perhaps with a different approach, of a compassionate and healing God who recognized the lack of equality of human towards human.  Their calling was to turn hearts, minds, and actions to better the lives and social conditions of all.  None of them set themselves up as divine or as God, only as messengers.  Each came when humanity cringed in fear, suffered in illness, and grieved over the loss of loved ones from wars, accidents, and cruelty. 

Each such leader was a way-shower, healer, and often a systems buster. Each such enlightened one spoke in terms familiar to their listeners, and were sufficiently radical and controversial that humanity began to heal those isolated areas within that had stagnated, even regressed to the point that they could not bring themselves out of their depths of despair.  They appeared in centrally populated areas of Earth. Their audience accepted the messages, for the most part, not realizing that the physical aspects of these doctrines, if acted upon, would enhance their emotional and spiritual sense of wellbeing and contentment. 

Such a leader or teacher comes to release our child within; to allow it to come out to play, and to heal the pain and fear that continuously leaves humans in shock with bleeding hearts.  An enlightened one envisions ideals that strike at the very core, a forward movement, and new images to replace decaying principles that are no longer useful.

With the advent of each messenger, we begin to heal our shadow-selves.  But in purging the shadow-self, many of us turn to acts of violence, rage, depression, and suicide for it is most fearsome to see the murkiness of our personalities and Egos.  This more clearly brings up our darkness--that which we know has been hiding deep within.  When we rip these masks away and reveal our true selves, emotionally we are not always prepared, and often lose our sense of perspective.  Thus we become unbalanced.  We ride the highs and lows of turbulent waves of emotional seas.

Globally we are invited to purge negative and restrictive energies from our cellular memories, along with those pockets of dark energies that have gathered in lands all over Earth.  Our healing is similar to sweating out a fever. We expel negative Thought patterns within ourselves and on the planet by allowing these energies to move from Earth, up through our bodies and brains, to be acted out, and released.  We can liken it to the continuity of ice melting into water when heated, and water becoming steam when boiled.

We may call this the “quantum physics of time.”  We see everything going at one speed, in one direction, and often are oblivious to the fact that our very actions create the present, and that what we do in the present sets up our future.  These aspects are true and are in constant motion.  It is like the bridge we often see in our Soul/Minds' eyes between the first and second Earths.  Yet next week the future will shift again. We are speeding up to the point where no time will exist; like an exploding of all that was, becomes what is, and what is to be.

The first planet Earth is changing, and we are leaving it behind as Earth vibrates faster and faster to move into the quickening vibrations of Light.  Those who choose to not change during these times may die to be reborn into the faster vibrations of the second Earth.  We do not know what these new vibrations will provide for they are still in the creative process.  We are simply taking a ride on Earth, while at the same time we are shifting into new realities of bodies and Thoughts.  Any who are opposing this transition see this as death of the first Earth. 

Many individuals in slower vibrations are seeking channels of faster frequencies that match the same frequencies of Earth.  All will change as Earth shifts into even faster oscillations, and with the changes will come outward displays of the opening of our hearts.  The first Earth may become like Mars, or it may remain a type of scorched Earth on which it would be most difficult to sustain life, something like that dramatized in the movie Mad Max. We who are merging as one with the accelerating second Earth will not notice the first Earth, because we are already living on the second Earth, which is simply a shift in vibrations.

We can liken it to a ball in the center of which is the slower vibrational first Earth and then a more ethereal looking Earth superimposed over it, which is the second Earth.

It does not matter to those who continue to find their realities within the slower vibrations of the first Earth’s temporal paradox.  This commonly has been referred to as Earth “ascending from third dimension to fourth dimension.”

The First and Second Wave Indigos arriving come with great purpose, intention, knowledge, courage, and determination. We have heavy responsibilities to see that our spaceship Earth is well supplied with all that it needs environmentally, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as it leaves the slower vibrational gravity of the first Earth.

We are the ground crew here at the beginning.  We organize and facilitate training for the scientists, mechanics, and teachers.  It is our duty to prepare Earth and society for the coming in of the Third Wave who cannot come en masse until this is accomplished for they bring the total manifestation of the second Earth and the golden age for humanity. 

A question immediately arises:  What happens to all who are either too old to be Indigos or are not born as Indigos?  Do they just get left on a scorched, dying Earth (hell)?  Are they trashed because they aren’t good enough?

In our reality everyone goes who chooses to, which choices are made on a spiritual level by Soul/Minds and not by Ego-brains.  Many who are not Indigos could not free themselves from the fetters of negativity and darkness since becoming so physically entrenched on Earth.  Families on the second Earth will have children and all Soul/Minds may select one of those infant bodies in which to incarnate, and be raised under conditions conducive to healing hearts, erasing memories of pain, and perfecting the human.  Perhaps it is one and the same as the many wonderful promises of our enlightened ones, and now it is happening. 

Unconditional Love sees no darkness, feels no darkness, and heals all darkness.
