The delegates of the District Convention will be the President and President-Elect. One delegate and two alternates will be elected by the club membership. 

The District Convention registration, transportation cost at the current district rate, per diem at the current rate (excluding meals included in registration), and one hotel room will be provided by the club.  Anyone who is not a delegate occupying the room paid for by the club will pay their share of the room cost.

The representative of Fall Council will be the club president.  Should the President be unable to attend, the club will be represented by the next ranking officer.  Fall Council registration fee, transportation cost at the current district rate, hotel room and per diem at the current district rate (excluding meals included in registration) will be provided by the club.  Anyone occupying the room other than the club representative will pay a prorated
share of the cost of the room.

The President is authorized to appoint, with the approval of the Executive Board, delegates to District Convention should those designated as delegates and/or alternates in the club standing rules be unable to attend, providing the club has no scheduled meeting prior to the convention. 

Monetary allowances budgeted for delegates and/or representatives at meetings and conventions are estimated expenses.  It is expected that each delegate and/or representative insofar as feasible stay within the limits as set out in F 2, 4, and 5 above,  so that these expenses together with other incidental and/or unexpected ones will be as economical as possible for the club.  If the budgeted allowance is too little, additional payment is to be made to the delegate.  If the budgeted allowance is too much, then refund to the club should be made.

There shall be included in the budget an item for expenses incurred by the President or the member appointed to attend special meetings as representatives of the club.

The President�s Pin, which is the property of the club, shall be presented to the incoming President by the retiring President at the annual installation of officers. 

The Secretary is authorized to purchase Past President�s Pin to be presented by the President on behalf of the club to the retiring President at the annual installation of officers.  When the retiring President is serving  a repeat term of office as President, he/she will be given a gift as an outgoing President.

A Pilot Pin and new member folder will be purchased by the club for every new member.  Upon resignation from the club, the member�s pin becomes the property of the club and should be returned.

It will be the duty of the President-Elect to prepare the club yearbook in a timely manner.

A copy of Robert�s Rules of Order Newly Revised will be provided for Parliamentarian, and will be passed to the successor no later than the date of installation of officers.

The established quorum needed to transact business for the club will be a majority (51%) of the active members on roll.

The President may authorize unbudgeted amounts not to exceed $50.00 during the year.  Authorization for expenditures exceeding this amount must be recommended by the Executive Board and vote of the club.
        
A courtesy committee composed of a chairman and two members will be appointed by
the President.  This committee will be responsible for the following:

   a.  Sending a bud vase of three (3) yellow or white carnations to any Pilot who is
        hospitalized or confined at home for an extended period of time.

   b.  Notifying the treasurer to send a memorial check for $15.00 to the Pilot International
        Foundation in the event of the death of a member�s immediate family, i.e. mother,
        father, sister, brother, husband or child.

   c.  Notifying the treasurer to send a memorial check for $25.00 to the Lawrence County
        Library as a memorial in the event of the death of a club member, and sending
        funeral flowers.
