Yusry bin Abdul Halim was borned on the 15 th of June 1973 on Friday ,"subuh".He was the second child to A.Halim and Zarina A.W Fenner,after their first child ,Norman.
Having a big brother always made yusry feel a bit secured,not to mention being the closest to his mother (mummy's boy) .Having all the advantages ,he often got into mischievious troubles and eventually hurting himself in the process .For example ,he had to have his forehead stiched 6 times when he fell from a double-decker bed onto the floor in his attempt to immitate his favourite action hero-Superman.It was only after 3 years that his mother got pregnant again which made him the "anak bongsu" for 3 years.
That is why yusry is a quite spoiled and playfull compared to his big brother,norman.Zarina sent yusry to kindergarten at the age of 2 1/2 ,just because he cried everyday so that he can follow his brother to kindergarten(i wonder what was norman's reaction ,having to bring his baby brother to school:P)

Yusry was addresed as "adik" by his parents and his big brother,even after Edry and Halina's birth.After edry's birth,the attention from his mother was divided to the new-born baby.This made yusry feel a bit left out.But as he grew up,he started to get used' to not being the youngest boy in the family anymore.Even so,he continued with his naughty schemes and always took the chance to bully edry around and sometimes even hitting his little bro'.Usually,norman takes the blame over yusry's behaviour,as he always tries to protect his younger siblings,but once in a while,yusry does get his own beating from their no-nonsense father.He may be the his mother's favourite ,and seldom get scolded ,but when it comes to his father ,no favouritism is involved.

Yusry and his brothers were die hard fans of the Beatles.Yusry's favourite member in the group was Paul McCartney.He always wanted to be like Paul.Yusry started his early years in Sek Ren Sri Petaling(the same school as Norman).And continued in Sek Men Setapak.
Eventhough he's known as a shy and quiet person,he was a school prefect and of course, did have friends.He himself ,described himself as a nerd and teachers pet in school.
Yusry was 15,when he and his family moved to London,UK.He did his O' Levels and A' Levels there.He also took the oppurtunity to learn more about song arrangement and producing an album.In his free hours ,he enjoys to do some art work like sketching,painting and etc.

Yusry joined KRU when he was about 19 .Everyone including his uncles and aunties were quite shocked by this,knowing that he was an awfully shy boy ,even having to ask his big brother,Norman to order for him to buy a burger at Mc'ds.And being a singer meant being in front of thousands of people.But,being shy and quiet proved to work for his advantages as,his shyness ,not to mention his innocent, cute,photogenic looks, made fans all over the country go ga-ga over him.Fans interpreted him as the strong-silent type.His sexy factor was his shyness.He became such a hit in KRU,and the most sought -after member,the poster boy,the gentlemen,the mummy's boy,the sweetest one,the innocent one and cutest one and arguably the most good looking bro'.

Yusry's lovelife has always been tragic.His first known love was with Sasha Saidin.A former ex-Elite' member,comes from a mixed-parentage family.Father,malay,mother, British.Their relationship sparked up a heat of anger,jealousy and bitterness from his own fans.The fans claimed that she was not preety enough for him .Or good enough for him.Some even went to the stake of treatning KRU,by not buying their albums and supporting them anymore if Yusry sees Sasha anymore.Norman ,being bussinesslike and everything,did everything he could to keep Yusry's relationship with Sasha a secret.Yusry,who didn't want to upset his brother nor his fans decided to keep it a secret too.As a result,Yusry and Sasha lead a strained relationship as a couple.They even went on dates' secretly.This lasted for a few years.Yusry's comitment with his work as an album producer/singer/composer/manager left him with no-luxury time for himself nor for his girlfriend.For the first few years,Sasha managed to put up with Yusry's tight schedule,because she cared for him too much to leave him.But after 5 years of the same thing,an on-and off relationship,they both felt that it was not meant to be.

After his break-up with Sasha,he met Wardina Safiyah Fadllulah.A georgeous and sweet model.Her father,australian,her mother,Acheh.They met in a cover magazine shoot.It was love ,at first sight(or was it?)Wardina, was practically a "female version" of Yusry,having the same kind of features,habits,not to mention both of them were born in the same month.They looked like twins/brother & sister/carbon copy of each other.Everyone commented that they looked so cute together.But,alas,maybe because they had too much in common,they're relationship lasts just a few months.Both were immature in terms of character.Both wanted to win in every argument.Both were used' to get things they're own way.Both had they're own egos to tend to.

There was a short rumour of him being linked with the most famous female singer in the country,Siti Nurhaliza.There was some reports of both of them being linked on the handphone for hours until yusry's hp bill went up to rm2000.Yusry denied the rumour,and so did Siti.God knows why..

The latest in Yusry's lovelife is Erra Fazira Wan Chek.A pure malay with beautiful looks.A model/an ex-Miss Malaysia/actress/singer,Erra has all the qualities a man can ever wish for.Beautiful,attractive,friendly and nice.Erra and Yusry met 6 years ago as friends,just after Erra broke-up with her ex-fiance,Awie and Yusry who broke-up with Sasha.Erra who's known for being very friendly and "peramah",had the pleasure of teasing' Yusry who's known to be a very quiet and shy guy.Erra's teasing made Yusry 'open up' and felt more relaxed.They exchanged phone numbers and became close friends.Only this year,did Yusry and Erra,proceed to the next level as being romantically linked.
