I wanted to build a small web page about myself. My name is John
and I was born in Alexandria, Virginia in the US on November 5,
1977. I have done a lot of things for my short time here on earth.
I graduated from Stonewall Jackson Senior High School in Manassas,
Virginia in 1995. I still live here in Manassas. I did move to Woodbridge
for one year but moved back to Manassas. I enjoyed my high school
years, I only regret that I did not come out in high school. Yes
that means I'm gay (attracted to other guys). Since being out of
school I have run into several guys that I went to high school with
whom are also gay, I find it quite ironic since some of them were
homophobes in high school.
After high school I attended nursing school and became an LPN. I
then worked for the state of Virginia for about 4 years with mentally
retarded people. I found the job very rewarding and at times entertaining.
I then got a job as a 911 operator for the City of Manassas Police
Department where I worked for 3 years. This job was very stressful
but I felt I was giving back and helping the community. I left the
police department for mistakes I made in my early life and went
to work for Kaiser Permanente, a major health insurance company.
I worked there for 1 year then became an Aquatics Manager at Lifetime
Fitness in Centreville, VA. I loved this job and still work as a
lifeguard and pool operator in my spare time. I then moved on to
The American Red Cross traveling doing blood drives and that led
me to my current job working for a large internet service provider
in their technical support department.
I'm single, but maybe that will change some day. I have a cat and
his name is Zach. He is my best friend. Zach is so playful and loving.
I love to travel and I also enjoy DJing but have not mastered it
yet. I did do some small spots in some clubs around the DC area.
I enjoy going out to clubs and meeting people and enjoy quiet time
at home too. I love taking pictures and have included many pictures
on my website of myself and friends. I hope to add more to this
page as time allows.
