Here is Karren sitting on part of the ruins of the Church of Gagsaua. The church was  first built before 1636 and burned down in July of that year, then rebuilt in 1724. It was buried in rocks from an eruption of the nearby Mayon Volcano on February 1, 1814. The rocks were since cleared, and the ruins of the church are a big attraction in Albay province near Legazpi City.
