I am a can-do guy. I have been a computer support person, computer skills teacher, PC programmer, designed and programmed computers from the chip level (embedded systems), built (not rebuilt) an entire automobile from scratch, co-owned and co-ran an ISP, written many web pages, have a full BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, and been a crisis phone line counselor for years.

I have been in the IT industry since 1983 and can support any application or suite of applications. I have also been a heavy duty, full time database programmer for several years. I am very familiar with computer languages and how they work.

Since 2003, I have published the local Sierra Club chapter's monthly newsletter. Here is a sample.

I enjoy a challenge, whether it's a car or a radio, a program or helping someone on the phone threatening suicide. I volunteered at a local crisis hotline for over 4 years and did desktop publishing for the Key West chapter of NAMI.

I have several very positive letters of reference in an Adobe Acrobat document (.pdf or Portable Document Format). If needed, you can get the free Acrobat Reader to view my letters of reference. At the bottom of this page, there is a newspaper article about a community service award I recieved.
