Nadsat Dictionary
In order to completely understand A Clockwork Orange, it is very useful to learn the teenage slang spoken by Alex and his friends.  This fictional, futuristic language is called Nadsat.  It is a blend of Russian, German, and invented slang created by author, Anthony Burgess.  Here is a list of words that appear in the film, their meanings, and origins.
