Education…We attended the same college, Notre Dame (GO IRISH!!)
at the same time, but never met. Joe paid for college through a Navy ROTC
scholarship. After college, he served seven years with pride as an officer in
the U.S. Navy.
Careers...Joe has sold furniture from manufacturers to furniture stores for over six
years. He has a flexible work schedule and looks forward to attending dance
recitals and coaching Little League baseball. Karen currently works as a fundraiser for a
woman & children’s shelter and soup kitchen. However, she is happily awaiting
the day she can be a Stay-At-Home Mom with the help of two seasoned grandmothers who
are just waiting for the next grandchild to spoil.
We both believe learning is a life-long process. We take the responsibility of
educating our child seriously. We look forward to reading with our child and
helping with homework. We want to prepare them for life’s many challenges. One of our
top priorities will be making sure that our child receives the best possible education in the area that
most interests him or her.
