| We Just spent 8 wonderful days on Vacation (June 26-July 4) I took over 450 photos on my camera.. not nearly enough to capture every beautiful thing that we saw. Hope these few pictures give you just a glimpse of the beauty of Colorado. |

| My best friend Sherri, her husband John and their youngest daughter Kailie spent some quality time with us in the mountains this year. Kailie was with us from the beginning... John & Sherri came up Saturday evening and left Monday morning. We so enjoyed their company. |

| The wildlife was phenominal.. not a day went by that we didn't see a deer or two. Fernando, the squirrel, was a faithful diner on our deck. There were some strange looking "skunk birds".. also known as Rocky Mountain magpies. On top of Pikes Peak, we were lucky enough to see adn photograph a Yellow Bellied Marmot. We also saw fox, chipmunks, american dipper birds... but who can forget the extremely rare "dancing chicken" .. LOL - the girls were so tickled that they had to take a picture. |

| Not to be outdone, the flowers and trees were every bit as fantastic as the animals. They gave off such a pleasing aroma.. reminiscent of Christmas trees and potpourri. |
