Juneau lost to Pulaski 51-37. The first half of the game was pretty close as Juneau's defense gave the Lady Pioneers many opportunities to score even if we didn't. However, in the 3rd quarter, Juneau had 11 turnovers which led to a 21 point run for the Rams. The Lady Pioneers regained their composure in the 4th quarter, but it was too late to overcome the lead Pulaski had. Alicia Benson led the team with 11 points.
12-05-02
The Lady Pioneers played a much improved game, but still lost the conference opener to Marshall by a score of 62-37. Alicia Benson led the team with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Jessica Matthews had 11 points and 3 steals. LaTasha Pernell scored 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Jessica Games and Nicole Evans had 2 and 1 points respectively to complete Juneau's scoring.

Juneau lost to Hamilton 51-36. Jessica Matthews led the offense with 14 points, 3 steals and 2 assists. Alicia Benson scored 7 points before leaving the game ill. Nicole Evans had 6 points. LaTasha Pernell had 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Veronique Allen had 2 points, 3 rebounds and a steal.. Lakaya Rogers led the team with 5 rebounds.

The Lady Pioneers scored more than their average, but still suffered a nasty defeat by Bay View 91-41. Nothing Juneau tried could stop the Red Cats 6 foot center. Jessica Matthews led the offense with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Lakaya Rogers had 7 points and led the team with 6 rebounds. LaTasha Pernell and Nicole Evans had 6 points each. Alicia Benson scored 4 points before fouling out. Jessica Games and Veronique Allen had 3 and 2 points respectively.

Juneau lost to Madison by a score of 57-28. The Lady Pioneers played good defense and hustled the entire game, but unfortunately, they don't get points on the scoreboard for good defense. You still have to put the ball through the hoop, and Juneau isn't having much success doing that. Jessica Matthews led the team with 11 points, 4 steals and 2 assists. Alicia Benson scored 8 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and stole the ball 9 times. Lakaya Rogers had 3 points and 5 rebounds. Latasha Pernell, Robin Linton and Nicole Evans each had 2 points.

Juneau lost to Washington by a score of 77-23. Jessica Matthews led the team with 7 points. Jessica Games and Alicia Benson each had 5 points. Nicole Evans scored 4 points. Latasha Pernell had 2 points.

Juneau lost to Riverside by a score of 87-32. Alicia Benson led the team with 11 points. Nicole Evans added 6 points. Jessica Games, Latasha Pernell and Lakaya Rogers scored 3 points each. Tanyla Laxton had 2points. Robin Linton and Veronique Allen each scored a free throw.

The Lady Pioneers lost to Vincent 90-33. Alicia Benson led the team with 12 points, 4 steals and 15 good defensive plays. Nicole Evans had 10 points and 11 good defensive plays including two blocked shots. Jessica Matthews scored 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Tanyla Laxton scored a basket. Jessica Games and Lakaya Rogers both made a free throw. Lakaya also grabbed 7 rebounds before fouling out of the game.
