Our Little Blessing

Mariah Elizabeth Grace

As you bring God to us

With your sweet little face.

We're lovingly waiting

for you, Baby Girl,

We're anxious to see

if your hair has a curl.

*

Day of Sacramental Grace,

You are God's little angel

With your sweet angelic face.

*

To love and sustain us,

Through all of our dreams

For your life He arranges.

*

Will your eyes be brown

or will they be blue,

Created by God

and all shiney brand new.

*

As you're presented to the Lord,

And makes you snowy white with grace,

from the father up above.

*

Little Mariah Elizabeth Grace,

With God has reserved

A very special place

*

We love you already,

we're waiting to see,

Just what sort of a person

that you will be

*

To prepare you for your strife,

He gives you all His grace, you see,

To help you in your life.

*

In God's Holy Wisdom

He sent you to us,

To increase our faith

And bless us with trust.

*

Will music be something

you have to play,

Or will you just jabber

and play "Mary Kay".

*

Given to your Mom and Dad,

With hope and love and faith

Which makes your family glad.

*

entwine with our heart,

The love that you bring

Will set you apart.

We'll love you whatever,

you want to be,

Just be a good girl

for your parents and me.

And a brother who is proud,

To give you lots of love,

Which makes a family 'crowd'.

And the trust that you bring,

You show us the way

To our Heavenly King.
