Hello & Welcome to My Home on the WWWeb!

August 2, 2004: I've finally updated the site. I got rid of the frames and learned how to use style sheets. The family tree stuff is still out of date, but I will update that soon.

I hope you find this site useful, enjoyable and not without its charm (Okay, so I'm pushing it a bit).

Musical Instruments Which I Play

(not very well, mind you)

Sports I Am (was?) Involved With

Quick Bio:

I grew up in the City of York, in Metropolitan Toronto, Ontario, Canada (but now that they amalgamated the whole darn thing it's just Toronto). I went to USDS, CHAT and finally, FHCI. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and graduated in 1996. While at UW I participated in the JSA, and twice performed in the annual original musical comedy productions of FASS. After leaving UW I spent my summer rehearsing for and performing in the Broadway Musical "Sugar" at the Markham Theatre north of Toronto. I played a singing, tap-dancing gangster named "Dude". After that I spent 8 months studying General Machining at a night course at Seneca College. I spent almost 3 years in Belleville, Ontario where I worked as a Mechanical Designer. While in Belleville I was also quite active in the Sons of Jacob Synagogue (I am the webmaster for that site). I performed as Tesman in Hedda Gabler and Mr. Manningham in Angel Street with the Belleville Theatre Guild. I am a member of the PEO, ASME, OSPE and SAE (I probably should belong to CSME/EIC, but that's another story). I am now back in Toronto and am working for Multimatic Technical Centre in Markham, Ontario as a Lead Design Engineer for Stamped & Welded Assemblies.

My summers were always very important to me. Much of the time I spent them at my cottage in Bracebridge, Ontario in the Muskokas. Growing up I also spent a lot of time at the camps of CYJ, first as a camper, then as a counselor, and always (when I could) performing in the summer plays we put on.

My musical interests are quite varied - Harry Chapin is one of my favourites, but I also enjoy Cat Stevens, Billy Joel, Jim Croce, James Taylor, Sass Jordan, Colin James, Tom Cochrane, Barenaked Ladies, The Waltons, Spirit of the West, The Eagles, The Steve Miller Band, Pink Floyd, Blue Rodeo...and the list goes on and on...

I enjoy creating things and I am quite proud of my art work, as well as my handiwork. One of my ongoing projects since childhood has been an electric go-cart, which started out as a soap box racer. I have built a bridge at my cottage, a treehouse at my house, painted, sketched, and doodled.

I love animals, especially dogs. My current favourite is my puppy (okay, he is 11 years old, but to me they are all puppies) Barney.

Alas, I'm sure many of you ladies are now thinking "Mmmm! Mmmm! Where can I get me a piece of him!?" Sorry to disappoint, but I married my soulmate, Danielle on August 4, 2002. And I love her dearly!
