introduction:  
goofy just moved into a new house and bought a new refrigerator. he is not sure of how he should fill it with good food.  he wants to start off on the right foot and not fill it up with junk food. can you help?

task   
in groups you will have to create a poster on kidpix or with markers showing goofy what food group you agreed to research.  you will need to include four things:  
1) your names  
2) the food group you chose  
3) the number of daily recommended servings  
4) pictures of foods that belong in that food group

process  
day 1:  
you will work with a small group at the computer.  with your group look at all of the food groups.  

breads and grains   dairy
fruits  meat
vegetables fats and oils.

 

 

 
day 2:  
your group will pick 1 food groups to research.  go to the food pyramid and find out more information.  you will need to know how servings are needed each day.
