| Went with his
parents to Harison County, Missouri when a child then to Otoe County, Missouri.
From there to Nebraska in 1864. in 1867 moved to Holt County, Missouri. He
was named after Dr. Milton M. Latta. On October 14 1874 while making railroad ties in Andrew County, Missouri near Savannah he met with an accident which lamed him for life. He then studied telegraphy but soon quit that to teach school. He taught for six years in Donipehene County and Sumner County, Kansas. He took a course in medicine in the University of Michigan graduating in June of 1883. He went to Millerton, Sumner County, Kansas where he practiced until 1904. On July 3, 1888 he moved to Wichita, Kansas and in 1908 he was still living there. |
