JL.com was founded in 2004 by James Leonard,
an ICT & Commerce enthusiast from Cork, Ireland. James had a vision
that the future of all technology would be mobile - no longer would
there exist a need for exceedingly large desktop workstations with huge
CRT monitors, no longer would phones have to use a cable to connect
to a PC, no longer would you need to move around the house to control
the appliances - everything would be integrated into one simple,
easy-to-use system. Leonard formed JL.com with the hope of turning this
vision into a reality, and began selling innovative mobile products via
the Internet.
Since its conception, JL.com has extended its client-base from merely
Cork ICT companies to companies as far as USA, Japan and Australia. An
unbelievable achievement when you think of how the firm has only been
in operation for three short months. It has added many new products to
its catalogue, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the new generation of
Tablet PCs. It has moved away from supplying laptops from brands such
as Toshiba and Compaq to supplying their own custom notebooks, which
are all designed with wireless mobile technology in mind. JL.com may
