In 2003, Annie Villeneuve was one of the women finalists on Star Academie along with Marie-�laine Thibert and Marie-Mai. Annie released her first album in 2005 entitled Quand je ferme les yeux. In late 2006, she gave an intimate acoustic concert at the Espace Dell'Arte which she released on DVD. She was nominated for several ADISQ awards, including for her hit song Un ange qui passe, which was co-written by ex-boyfriend Dany B�dar. In 2007, she was nominated for Female Artist of the Year. These awards will be handed out October 28, 2007. She was recently featured in Marc-Andr� Fortin's single Une ann�e dans un jour.
