Finally, an e-textbook that students can use like...a book! People, Problems, and Power comes on a CD-ROM that students can use on any computer, running Windows 2000 or above or Mac OS 10.2 or above, without usernames, passwords, logins, internet connections, or any of the restrictions other publishers have placed on their e-textbooks - not even on printing!

The book is an Adobe PDF file, so only the common Adobe Reader program is needed. A special access code is provided that users need only enter the first time they use the disc on a new machine.

The new 6th edition encompasses the results of the historic 2008 presidential primaries and general election, including updates on campaign finance! Chapters throughout the book have also been updated to reflect legislation, polls, Supreme Court decisions and other important events through December of 2008.

In addition, improvements to the security system have allowed us to eliminate the access code requirements of the 4th Edition. Absolutely no codes or passwords need be entered by the user at any time. The 6th Edition is also compatible with Mac OS 10.2 or above.
